I wish they would put out a DVD of the UWF in stores,and have matches like this from the old Bill Watt's UWF in it,and also matches with the Freebirds,Dr. Death,Ted Dibiase,Hacksaw Duggan,Sting,Eddie Gilbert,etc.

This was when Jim Ross was great back then announcing.He was Bill's Watt's right hand man,and was a big reason Mid-South,UWF wrestling was so great to watch.It's a shame later in his career Vince took Ross and turned him into the cowboy hat character good old JR.Vince loved turning great wrestlers into cartoon chracters,and it's a shame he turned Jim Ross into one also

WWF ruined the Sheepherders by making them the Bushwackers & forcing them to be Fan Favorites for their entire run, would've been nice to see the Wackers as a Hell team in the WWF during their long run.

It got to a point where this feud got so bloody that the matches were "banned" from television. In fact, this was the hottest feud in 1986.

The NZ Sheepherders were true innovators of hardcore wrestling. Before becoming the comedy team of the "Bushwackers" Butch and Luke cut a swath thru the Southwest,  Memphis, UWF and Florida. What a bloody and gory time it was!!!!

Fantastics and Sheepherders was one of the best feuds that people don't mention. Both teams were incredibly talented, told great stories. The Sheepherders were so vicious.

I used to get the UWF broadcasts in the mid 80s with antenae tv. I loved it. Do you have the cage match between these two teams when the ropes were barbed wire?
