Actually. You are right, but John was never drunk during live performances, or studio work. EVER. He actually said, and I quote, "I dare not drink before a gig because I'll get tired and blow it. So I have to sit drinking tea in a caravan." Thats live for you, and he had to be sober during studio work, because you HAVE to be sober. They where all always sober during studio.
