  • the drums r wild in this song... especially in the little part in the middle when they speed it up

  • no, I am John Paul Jones!

  • Ezra Pound. 1884

    106. In a Station of the Metro

    THE apparition of these faces in the crowd;

Petals on a wet, black bough.

  • i love it!!!!!!!!its my faveorite song they've ever made!!!

  • jhon paul jones said in a interveiw that he was the only one in led zeppelin that could walk down the street and nobody would even know who he was.

  • John Paul Jones has never fully received enough credit for his contributions to Led Zeppelin. While Robert and Jimmy were off on their vocal/guitar excursions, who do you think was holding things together? John Bonham wasn't doing it by himself!!

  • he actually receives a lot of credit. he is recognized as one of the greatest bassists ever...

  • this early metel

  • i started listenin to led zeppelin when i was in middle school in the 80s and still love them just listen the whole band just rocked

  • fuck i love led zeppelin

  • Who's that Robert Plant is with at 3:12? Kind of looks like Roger Daltry.

  • Whoa what's up with the thumbs down's ;P what i meant was that many zep fans back in the day saw this as their sell out song. I personally love the hell out of it!

  • Y was it considered a sell out song?

  • Well, I suppose due to the very "Latin" sound to the song pissed people off, thinking they were chaning their style to appeal to other people. I honestly disagree with the haters.

  • I love the sound of this song, much different than their other songs, which is why I like Zep

  • I love how Zep's "sell out song" is still fuckin' amazing lol very underrated album and song!

  • You know what, i think this Zeppelin song is one of their VERY best. Funny how John Paul Jones was basically running the musical show at this time (Plant and Page were so fucked up on H). Great album and TIMELESS song. Drums are kick-ass!!

  • ACtually it was plant n paul who had their shit together well the most sober out of the 4. page was addicted and bonham was drinking more than ever torward 79 XD i KNOW THIS THANSK to the book my friend gave me XD

  • Actually. You are right, but John was never drunk during live performances, or studio work. EVER. He actually said, and I quote, "I dare not drink before a gig because I'll get tired and blow it. So I have to sit drinking tea in a caravan." Thats live for you, and he had to be sober during studio work, because you HAVE to be sober. They where all always sober during studio. Anad as far as Plant. He was a druggie too. Of course never live. He smoked live though. As well as Jimmy, and John.

  • I could just listen to the drums on there own

and be quite happy, probably the best groove I have heard!!

  • oh ha sorry bout that

no i agree with you hehe

  • "photograph" by def leopard, or "fool in the rain?"

  • if i were you i would pick the one i could spell

  • What?

  • its leppard

  • Sorry Master I thought you ment I'd spelt groove wrongly,I'm FENDIN, I see what you mean

    now.

  • your kidding right ?

  • I love the tone Jimmy got on the guitar in the solo, amazing songs

  • Isn't it odd how (with most albums) the first 4 songs are good and the rest if just boring but led zeppelin never did a song close to boring and that I find truly amazing.

  • Erm. that "if" should be "are". sorry.

  • I've noticed that as well. Led Zep is awesome!

  • Dave matthews is ok but is not fit enough to be a stage hand for this band .
