The only real reason why Harriet hoped for Hillary to win the nomination was because she got sick of all the men being in power for president and my whole family and I agreed to her feelings. Even most European countries became very disapointted and angry because they wanted Hillary in the White House instead of Barak but hey. I voted for Barak anyway and not for McCain only because this economy is very bad and it must be fixed. For Barak's sake, I hope he'll do a good job!

I have a question (I'm voting myself by way) Do you think Clinton should have been awarded all the delegates from Michigan and Florida or some based on her popular vote wins in those states? The result Clinton vs McCain. I think the DNC was afraid that they would lose black voters and this would have been devastating for Clinton. The Democratic party cannot win states like Pen, Ohio, Mich, NJ, Missouri, VA, Maryland, Fla with no black voters-they would have stayed home. Sad, but true!

I see your point, if McCain wins over Obama it doesn't necessarily mean the Clinton is gonna win against MCCain in a re-election bid. I forsee people turning against Hillary (blacks, liberals, and youths)in the primaries in the 2012 election!

Not a Clinton supporter by a long shot, but the fact is she was denied by her own party. Democrats were denied. They voted and the DNC rigged it for Obama. Mich should have all gone to her. Obama pulled his name from the election. He should not have received a single delegate from that state.

I agree they (DNC)should not given Obama any delegates. They should have went by their first plan and not consider FLA or Michigan. If Clinton had it her way and would have gotten those delegates in her favor she would have taken the lead over Obama. The Obama's people would have complained. DNC probably thought it was lose lose situation. I heard so Dem tell me that if Clinton found a way to steal the nom for Obama, blacks would have not voted for her and would leave the Dem. party!!!

99% of blacks don't know why they're voting? Now, being black myself, i know we only make up 13% of he population. We CANT carry a candidate by ourselves even if he received 100% of the black vote.
What she doesn't understand is that blacks & WHITES voted for Barack because Hilary's tantrums, lies, and blatant "I'm entitled" attitude turned a lot of us off. Noone questioned the black vote when they were swinging for her when the primaries began. But she lost focus, and with it, the nomination

Sorry, but unlike most people who blog, I DO read and research every statement before I make it. According to the most recent Census count, the US population is 304 million with blacks only making up around 37-38 million.
Maybe instead of getting your info from other bloggers, you should research a little before you attempt to refute TRUTHFUL comments.
