ANYONE WHO THINKS THIS IS A TRAVEL DOES NOT KNOW BASKETBALL!!! His "first step" was not a step. It was the step during his pick up of the dribble. This step does NOT count towards the two step rule. It is the same as the step you receive a pass. After picking up and possessing the ball you get 2 steps. The first step did not count. 3 steps - 1 = 2 which is a legal play. No travel.
