I was listening to my minidisc of this album's cd transfer and singing with Corey sounds like Don Henley but there is no mention of his name on the back cover singing on the album. Listen to this section of the song: 1:25.
@devilsdeck From what I remember this is the only or of a couple songs that were fictional. Not about one particular person...but maybe a collection of thoughts. I may be wrong but seems I recall reading this in one of his fan newsletters from years ago. Cheers! Be well.
@pilsner70 In the eighties, someone lent me a tape of Boy in the box. (I`d never heard of Corey Hart) I went home and played it ,I WAS HOOKED, i have all his albums and cd`s since.
This is not the kind of material that i usually like, but it drew me in. His arrangements, lyrics ,and voice are so unique..... I don`t know this ,but it just seems like he writes from his experiences ( Hence my question about Jenny Fey) btw my fav Corey song is Kisses on a train from Attitude & virtue
@devilsdeck You are correct. He writes from his experiences! But yeah, Jenny Fey was just made up from what I remember. There is more and more media on here from Corey almost every day...it's nice to see people still realize and appreciate his talents!
A lot of Corey's tunes should have been hits and Jenny Fey is absolutely one of them. Great lyrics. It's one of those songs I still think about sometimes, 27 years later. Wait a second. Did I just say 27 years? Shut. Up. Wow. Great stuff, Corey Hart.

@rockriver9 I totally agree. Many of Corey's smaller albums that didn't accumulate as much popularity deserves it too.

totally a great song.... when agoraphobia was just a misspelled word! i wonder how old Jenny Fey is now? and how many cats she has?
Can't you feel the lonely crying in the world...
