You say that its terrible that torture is the norm now but in truth torture has always been used its just the modern media age bringing it to light that has changed things.
How do you determine what's right and what's wrong? What's ethical and what's not? Also, do you come up with your opinions and viewpoints before or after you hear other people's opinions and viewpoints? In other words, what are you influence by?
Also I don't consider waterboarding toture. It's not physically harmful and it's part of our troop's basic training. I've seen it done to people and they were laughing about it after. We've only done it to two or three people and they were very high up in alqueda. We got information from them that prevented two huge bombings from happening.

We executed for a collection of crimes, water torture was never a stand alone crime.
Yes we executed for bayoneting, burying people alive, for cutting off limbs for amusement, for force feeding dry rice then upon forced drinking the prisoners stomach would explode. These are the types of torture we execute for.
Waterboarding is what we do to our own guys in training.

Well it's more than a little "24" to think that torture works -- it doesn't. People just tell you what they think you want to know. And as Sheppard Smith said, I really don't give a sh*t if it works... we are America, we don't torture.

I'm not aware of anyone innocent who was waterboarded, that is the worst that we have to offer.
Christopher Hitchens was even Waterboarded for Vanity Fair.
Are you not aware of the gold mine of info we got directly from this program?
You cannot BS a CIA interrogator as the info you give must match what they already know to be true.
We can disagree if this is ever acceptable or not my main point is: If you call This Torture... what are you going to call real torture?

If I lost my license for "Speeding, reckless driving and DUI. ... would it be correct to say I lost my license for speeding? This is what you are doing by claiming Japs were executed for waterboarding.

- Whatever form of torture you talk about, it is still torture. Innocent or not. Whether you call it "real torture" or not. Waterboarding IS happening in reality.
There has generally been zero accountability in many situations in history where torture is used. There is also no way to gauge excesses, so everything is possible. Secondly, there are no limits or measurement of what pain has been inflicted.
Name some situations in which torture HAS prevented the loss of innocent life.

lol... it has. My hair is several shades darker and much shorter now, that's probably it :P
And yes, I considered doing something crazy to scare him off, but then I just decided to go inside =P
