Holy cow you have Tom Sullivan artwork in this documentary. That's more than enough reason to get the DVD. I'm ordering a bunch to pass out. He captured the world of Lovecraft so well he was murdered by Cthulhu cultists. What a loss. They never found his body. Just buckets of his bile. The police keep it in the evidence freezer. But it won't freeze. They say it's unnatural. Not human. No human being could make that much bile yet it all contains his DNA. I've said too much. Buy this DVD.
"an old world xenophobic gentleman" ? Please. The fact that Lovecraft understood race and supported eugenics made him all the more great and progressive. Science has shown that race is an empirical and forensic reality---not a "social construct". H.P. was correct in his observations of N.Y.C..
@DaNorthernLight I suppose you're right.

what inspired him? failure. He couldn't do astrophysics like he wanted, so he was stuck with this kind'of stuff.

@returnoftheramble it might be. but thanks to this "failure" he was stuck with writing and will be forever remembered.
