Thanks for this post, I thought I had heard it all. I love this. As a 70's kid I am witness to the greatest artist ever at a young age, and then the subsequent death of music. I will never tire of Bob. There are few musicians, bands, vocalists and song writers left. Just a shame he died so young his music is timeless.

@leicestergux The problem with your argument is you cannot separate the man from the music. His decision to seek supermodels in no way inhibited his ability to make good music. Michael Jordan's skill is undisputed, but he openly cheated on his wife-- like a lot of top athletes.Also, not all of Bob's children were properly ID'ed after he died- so he wasn't a perfect dad. Lots of top musicians cheated and preferred the young, model types--- that in no way takes away from their talents-- or his.
@Snackay I love Bob's music, but he was indeed a complex person-- which I think contributed to his art. I can't believe people who claim to love Bob so much never watched the "Legend" DVD b/c it's all laid bare on film. I love his music and always will, but no one is perfect.

Thanks for this post, I thought I had heard it all. I love this. As a 70's kid I am witness to the greatest artist ever at a young age, and then the subsequent death of music. I will never tire of Bob. There are few musicians, bands, vocalists and song writers left. Just a shame he died so young his music is timeless.

@leicestergux The problem with your argument is you cannot separate the man from the music. His decision to seek supermodels in no way inhibited his ability to make good music. Michael Jordan's skill is undisputed, but he openly cheated on his wife-- like a lot of top athletes.Also, not all of Bob's children were properly ID'ed after he died- so he wasn't a perfect dad. Lots of top musicians cheated and preferred the young, model types--- that in no way takes away from their talents-- or his.
