More companies =/= better, in fact, having 2 different development teams not working at the same time in the same place can cause more complications than benefits. Not to mention the size of the two teams combined could be, say, less then the size of ubisoft's (just an example) and their skill could be lacking even more.

@underdog353777 Yes i see your point, MW3 had two teams work together to make it, and it came out much more balanced then MW2, but i do believe that if treyarch, infinity ward, and Sledgehammer where to work together that they could pull out a great game, but most people want slightly different games more often, quantity over quality. when i played battlefield 3 a game that took a while to develop i thought it was much better built than cod.
