@xshreevex You actually cant make this "stiff" at home ;) We use Ferrotec EFH1, all those homemade printer ink and veggie oil dont spike. Not to mention using the printer toner is extremely toxic and dangerous when mixing. If you want to buy REAL ferrofluid thats safe, go to Amazing Magnets. For the original ferrofluid toys CZFerro
is it an alcohol mixture, so that the Adhesion of the suspension fluid ist bigger than the Adhesion of the ferrofluid, so the ferrofluid cant reach the glaswall and stain on it? or how did you solve the stain problem?
@KarLArschaffe I would really love to know the same exact answer to your question...The ferrofluid can be a mixture of toner ink and oil... So I wonder if water or alcohol would work as a suspension... Knowing that the ferrofluid is diving so its heavier, but what could be a suspension that doesnt dissolve the ink into it and extract the color from the oil...
