  • @MonsterCope993 Kolzigs from south africa

  • @SKSawesome

    Yes but is german Kölzig

  • "Do you know what hockey is"

    "Si"

    "Great! You're on the team!"

  • @colinrocksursocks you're so racist

  • @CostaRicaGoalie mow my lawn.

  • @colinrocksursocks Mow you're own fucking lawn, you lazy ass fuck, what do you think I am?

  • soccer isa bunch of pussies faking injuries while hockey is a real man sport

  • Shut up with soccer. It's mens time, it's hockey time.

  • Someday I want to see a player from South Africa make the NHL.

  • give me the job of headcoaching and you will improve your ranking

  • look at the green goalie! he must be more than 3,5 meters!:P

  • To be honest, I had no idea that neither Mexico nor South Africa played ice hockey... they seem more like soccer nations, really. But it's a pleasant surprise, though :)

  • I never would've thought either of these countries had a hockey team

  • Olaf Kolzig should be in ne for south afria, if that happns and have decent offence then south africa would pwn mexio

  • México !! México !! México !!

  • EVERYONE CHILL! let's just admit it. Canada kicks ass in hockey and latin america and europe kicks ass in soccer...can't be good at everything...

  • 1:49 Pow!

  • so is this what a mexican or african turn to when they learn they suck at soccer???

  • Fight of the titans lol..

  • i searched mexican hockey as ajoke and this is what I got

  • WTF! South Africa has a hockey team?? I'm South African and didn't even know!

  • Lol I didn't know mexicans can play hockey?? Nor did I know south Africa had a hockey team.

  • jesus, mexico and south africa? wow

  • For real... reminds me of the Hockey matches at my ancient high school in Montreal!!! LOLLOLOLOL... Well at least Mexico's not that bad, hey the know thre rules!

vamos mexico aunque sea echenle ganas!! jj

  • Reminds me amateur matches here :)

good that countries at elast make efforts in this hard sport.

  • well, everyone has stated something by now, but let me say that this players are not professional hockey players, they have every day jobs or are students, because professional hockey does not even exist in mexico, in mexico mexico city there are no more than 2 or 3 ice rinks, and some countries from europe have more ice rinks and less inhabitants than the city. I hope one day we all grow to accept that some do just for the fun and are good at it

  • Why the fuck are people trashing these guys. Ice Hockey is not popular in Mexico or South Africa, it's not part of their culture, deal with it, this is the best they've got, of course they're not gonna be as good as Canada and the USA, give them a break. Now let's go watch the Canadian mens soccer team play and we can all laugh at that. I'm Canadian btw.

  • i think mens league games are better than this bullshit

  • So are most of the players on both teams expats living in Canada or the northern US?

  • donde practico hockey en gdl mexico? U_U

  • I love the way Americans and Canadians laugh at these teams, but if their local college team or club (excluding franchises) were to play Mexico at ice hockey they would get beat pretty bad. There's NHL coaches working with that national team and I just played their U18s in Div iiib WCs and they were tough, they were fit and good passers and they ran the complete shit out of us...

  • @Shaftsus Naw, you and your team are just shit. A bantam team would destroy these guys . . . and your team I guess.

  • @Gimpyn00b nah a lot of the people in these teams including Mexico are half canadian or half american and play hockey in those countries but are eligible to play for their national team, that's what makes them so good - there's even a few midget AAA players in the Israeli national team it's ridiculous lol

  • @Shaftsus yeah, that confirms my suspicions

  • @znogypogy it really doesn't, Israel finished 2nd last in the tournament this year I'd like to see a bantam team play iceland U18s and win lol just wouldn't happen.

  • @Gimpyn00b and this is their team in 2005 not 2011 :P Their squad would have a completely different roster of players now lol

  • @Shaftsus are you shitting me these guys look like a beer league compared to some of the canadian minor teams

  • @sarmenia yeah im not talking about AHL I'm talking about your college or something - this is footage of U18s teams and it's from 2005 so the squads would be completely different by now. We talked to the players from other teams - Israel has 2 midget AAA hockey players and their first line were all residents in Canada or America with American accents lol and Israel finished 4th out of 5 :P

  • @Shaftsus Its just the competition level buddy, dont get me wrong I want to see the entire world be as good as Russia Canada and USA but there are not enough people playing in these coutnries. Its not about the athletes they are all good but the general speed of the game to compete at even the NCAA D3 level is way beyond this. Please realize I want nothing more than to see the sport grow and I am not putting any of these great athletes down

  • You say whatever you want, but who has a gold medal?! ;)

  • south africa and mexico can destroy in soccer thats ok...just stay the FUCK away from ice cause you suck.

  • i would love to see canada play one of these teams, it would be so unfair, hey but they would destroy us in soccer.

  • yeah i should go between the pipes on one of the teams haha.

  • i play bantam AA in canada and i can score 14 goal in this game

  • The guy fixing his jersey at 0:15 with the visor looks like the only one with a possibility of going pro

  • @TheUltimateHockey

How in the world do you figure that? Because he's fixing his jersey? How does one "look" like they can go pro?

  • MEXiCO! MEXiCO!

  • Nice, exotic states play ice hockey better than I thought !

  • Mexico is the only Latin American team that competes in IIHF tournaments.

  • southamerica plays lots of hockey....but not on ice....is on grass, indoor...or roller in line skates.... our weather is tropical...as the caribean one, thats why we dont play ice hockey....we r not interested in that neither......the only thing that canada could be champion of..., is about having more ice cubes..lol

  • u make fun of seeing mexico playing ice hockey......as southamerica n europe make fun of seeing canada TRYING to play soccer

  • @su0700200 mexico is actually pretty good though..lol

  • @yopussybitch i dont know if they r pretty good or not.....but u have to understand the courage for a latin country to overcome is this kind of sports of ice.....in latin america snow is just on highlands.....not in the city....

  • @su0700200 i know what you mean

  • @su0700200 we play soccer better than you play hockey..lol

  • @jai18ansostie u soccer?? hahahahahhaha canada in soccer?? cum on man please...defend ur country with reality..not dreaming..CANADA SUCKS...REALLY REALLY SUCKS IN SOCCER...U DONT PLAY SOCCER..YOU TRY TO DO IT...AND U CANT CUZ YOU WERE NOT BORN FOR THAT SPORT.....SOCCER IS JUST FOR LATIN AMERICANS AND EUROPEANS.....U BETTER KEEP EATING ICE HAHAHAHHAA

  • @su0700200 we tied mexico in a qualification match in 2008, now try to tie us in hockey

  • @jai18ansostie

The traditional sport in Mexico is not Soccer, but Bullfighting. You canadians! try to tie us in Bullfighting. Hint: There are not written rules in Bullfighting, rules and a sense of scoring have to be intuitively learned by many years of observation and internalizing. Also, a bullfighter that is not beaten by a bull at least once a year, is not a good bullfighter. In a decade, a bullfighter is dishonored if he doesn´t go badly wounded to the hospital at least twice.

  • @su0700200 OK first of all Canada has 28 millon ppl and Football has not been popular till the 1970s.And Canada beat or Tied Mexico many times in Football but Mexico's Hockey team never ever going to be in the same group to even have a chance to play Canada.Anyways we shouldn't even fight we should be sticking together and make it harder for the USA to keep using us!!! Adios Amigos Mexicanos viva Mexico et Canada la duos Amigos.I don't know if my Spanish is understandable lol I tried

  • @jozsefkacsa Really?? its impossible to beleive that Canada had beat Mexico in the past.....let me review the statics.... Im not mexican.....im southamerican (Peru), i admire the canadian ice hockey....and all your winter sports because you live in a very cold country.... but i like your idea of the union between canada and mexico to fuck u.s.a Just 28 million of canadians?? wow...we are almost 30 million of Peruvians...lol....

  • @su0700200 Actually the last Football game we played vs Mexico was 2:2 it was in Vancouver.I follow Football because I'm originally from Hungary and love Football.Yea it's messed up that here we only have 28 million ppl we're the 2.nd largest country in the world but the northern 55% of Canada has population less than 50 thousand I'm 1 of'em.The Canadian national team players are all playing in Europe mostly in England only 2 or 3 in the MLS Thanx for your comment Peace

  • @jozsefkacsa Hungary...yeah i remember u got a great soccer team in the 70's. I didnt know most of canadian players play in england...i guess in the first division and not in the premier league.... This year Peru went to Canada with our "C" team....and we beat them 2-0...very easily... =) i know that only the 45% of canadian territory is available for human life...because there are lot of lakes...rivers....and snow.. peace dude!!!!!

  • @su0700200 It's actually not as cold in Canada as people perceive it to be. Sure, it snows for about 6-7 months of the year but we do get summer and it can get quite hot (over 40 C above). And to end this arguement you're having with jozesfkasca, Canada kicks ass in hockey, gets ass kicked in football (although our women's team is 8th place in the world.)

  • @hckyroxs hahahha yeah i know that dude....and i really admire canadian ice hockey...im always supporting the canadian teams against american teams in the NHL...... i didnt know about your 8th place in female football.....congratultions!! i hope the canadian male football team someday improve its level too

  • @su0700200 soccer? is it the sport you kick a ball? sorry im canadian and i dont care about soccer

  • @su0700200 oh no doubt that there is a large gap between Canada and Mexico in soccer. Mexico is a perennial World Cup team and Canada has only qualified once. But my point was that the gap between nations is much smaller in soccer than it is in hockey.

  • Just like our matches in hungary (14 years old)...

  • this is worse than watching the blue jackets

  • WTF???? They have hockey in Mexico?????

  • these people suck im 14 and im better than half of them!!!

  • @hockeylaxcc ohhh Mr Gretzky comes out now ! .

  • This is probably the worst place for this, but does anyone know of a way i can contact someone from the Mexican hockey federation and see that the requirements are to try out for a team down there, I've been a goalie for 11yrs and im itching to measure myself against those guys, any help would be appreciated.

  • All people who love hockey should like new teams, new countries, new players to participate in this beautiful game. Maybe one day guys like them become great hockey players and play even in the nhl. Even a libanese guy made it to the nhl !!

  • Why so much hate? This is hockey, good or bad, I love seeing both of these countries playing the game, just wish my country (america) would show more hockey love.

  • If Canada played mexico we would rape

  • Not bad for countries who have warm climates where hockey isn't very popular.

  • my asshole can skate better than these kids

  • well, this is a surprise, go hockey team ! lol Mexico!

  • its funny how every country whos good at hockey.they suck at soccer. and the ones that are good in soccer suck at hockey.

  • @Sephirot1994 Sweden used to be really good at soccer, and Germany is good at both ice hockey and soccer (obviously way better at soccer, but they came 4th year in the IIHF 2010 world championship)

  • @sebbeks not to be mean or anything, but germany? the statistics tell a different story. in the olympics they didnt win a match and they should've been in the lower division if it werent for the home tournament. but yeah i think germany did a great job this year

  • @Sephirot1994 I guess they are in the top 15. national soccer teams outside of the top 15 are considered good, but by FAR from best. germany would whip austrian butt, or any other nation who plays hockey in a lower division. they were very close to extend the third period into overtime in the world championship against the russian "dream team".

  • @Sephirot1994 Its because of the weather. We suck at soccer cause we only play 3 months a year. But hockey we play year round.

  • @Shane444888 who we?

  • @Sephirot1994 I meant Canada

  • @Shane444888 ok, well yeah basicly the same thing around here in finland. Snow comes around on november (October if lucky)

  • @Sephirot1994 What about Sweden and Germany?

  • @giraki1 germany didn't win a match in the olympics. Sweden is somewhere around 30 in fifa rankings, which is somewhat mediocre in my oppinion.

  • I thought only white people play hockey O.O

  • @manfire280 those Mexicans and Saffies looked pretty white to me...

  • @408vatolokz A more ignorant comment, I don't think I've ever heard. I don't know where to begin telling where you are wrong.

  • Canada Sucks DICK......at soccer

  • i love to see hockey being played all over the globe. its the greatest sport once you really get into it and when you watch and play enough you will agree. i don't care how good anyone is, as long as they are promoting the game and having fun doing so while being competitive.

  • pathetic

  • Not hockey power houses but its nice to see the game growing in new countries. This kind of looks like the the equivalent to Midget house or like B in Canada. What level is it one the world stage? Anyone know?

  • what the hell are black people doing playing hockey it don"t even snow in africa

  • South Africa & The Hockey? XD Ha-ha

Hungary!!! The Next Years, Go in Division 1, A Group :)

  • @bf2cod2 I hope so too, as a finn =)

  • Both soccer and hockey are strenuous sports that require their athletes to be in peak physical condition. I play hockey recreationally and used to play soccer. I quit soccer simply because I wasn't excelling at it. Hockey requires you to be able to skate and stick handle at the same time, soccer requires you to run and handle the ball. Have you seen a soccer pitch though? My legs are burning just thinking about it.

  • @guitar241990 I agree. Injuries are more likely to occur in hockey though, but both require good physical status

  • I love Mexican sports but come on, there is no way this team can even beat a college team in the U.S. let's stick to soccer and baseball for now.

  • sports=fun, i have no idea why some players have to fight on this sport.

  • Mexico won the world cup.

  • im mexican and i like hocky so?

    skarks all day bros

  • South Africa is a great country, greetings from Mexico and see you in the world cup.

  • i want see a game Latvia vs South Africa. :)

  • im mexican and thats not mexico's sport, soccer is their sport so i couldnt imagine mexico playing canada in hockey because canada will woop on them, but in soccer mexico will woop on canada

  • looks like they play in slowmotion :P

  • Stupid retards, there's no ice in Mexico, it's a miracle that we even have a fucking team, dun be such cockheads with those comments.

  • Canada has beaten Mexico in soccer FYI

  • @bets86 not our first stringers along with all the euro base players.

  • @bets86 thats why we play soccer and woop on canada

  • @bets86 true but goes other way around as well Mexico has beaten Canada in Football(soccer)

  • Soccer is soft compared to hockey, play it I dare you...if ur not soft.

  • @markmata44 soccer is harder to me , but its my opinion

  • @aquint03

ur kidding right? I understand it's ur opinion but anyone can kick a ball around.

  • @markmata44

theres more to soccer than just kicking a ball dude.....

    try controlling it.....

and no i dont mean kick the ball and run after it i mean run with the ball and be able to pass the ball around 40 yards or more.....

and theres way more to it........try running for 90 min..

everybody has their opinion but dont judge so quickly :)

  • @chvasmex I played both soccer and hockey (i still play here and there). Dude, bviously, you never played hockey. Hockey is so much more difficult not just to learn but to maintain the level of skills. Everybody can run, only so many can really skate. Anyone who has two legs can handle the ball only so many are good with their hands on sticks. Soccer allows for little body contact. Hockey rules allow for lot of it. Hockey beats soccer hands down in skills requirements.

  • @micanut48

ive played hockey but with friends and i know what you mean because not alot of people know how to skate and control a puck with a stick but soccer is very complicated. try kicking a ball at 40 km per hour

try taking a freekick and not kicking it over the net.....

hockey is more physical but try and watch the premier league (England) and you'll see that theres a lot more contact.

try getting fouled when your running at full speed....

    it hurts like a bitch

  • @micanut48 clearly u no nothing about soccer... in soccer u dont just run around with a ball.. it takes much more skill than that.. u have to have accuracy and u must be able to curve because all pro's can curve very welll and make it look effort less and im pretty sure curving is harder than anything in hockey.. also u must have good control and good speed.. in hockey u need speed(skating) , hand eye coordination, strength and skills with ur hands on sticks. soccer beats hockey by a land slide

  • @lovejessica531 not really, I think hockey is almost as beautiful (and players have to be even more graceful), much faster, and a HELL of a lot more physical. Although both games are amazing and skillful: So much for your landslide. I would have to give it to ice hockey. Sorry

  • @lovejessica531 just read your BS. Like I said, been playin' both sports for the longest time. Was much better in soccer than in hockey. I KNOW soccer, you ignorant you. Have you ever laced up a pair of hockey skates and tried it? I will eat my stick if tou really did because only igno rant like you can say something this dumb. I also Coach so I know WHAT IT TAKES to play either sport. Those who brag about pussycality of soccer never got hit just once in hockey!

What a bunch of ignorants!!!!

  • Hahaha. I can not stop laughing . Never thought africans and latinos can play hockey. That was so funny

  • @burakomin that is funny and im latino

  • @burakomin so...whats the joke??? should i laugh about???? its the same to see u.s.a or canada playing soccer......u dont even know the shape of a ball.....

  • @su0700200 while generally Mexico is a better country at soccer than us, Canada has beaten them before (2000 Gold Cup quater finals comes to mind) so Canada can at least be respectable against Mexico in soccer, but if they two nations played at Hockey, Canada would be in the tripple digits. (and that isn't a knock against Mexico, that is just how far apart they are)

  • @JCMoney yeah sure dude..i have no doubt about Canada on ice hockey...u r top 5 best teams on ice hockey of the world....but in soccer?? despite u won a game against mexico...its just casualty....around 4 months ago, canada played soccer in toronto against the team B of Peru....and Peru won without their stars...

  • @burakomin and i never thought u.s.a or canada would try to play soccer....u really suck

  • I hope to see Mexico and the rest of the hockey developing countries get a chance to play in the senior leagues around the world, including the NHL. Also, hopefully in the Senior World Championships someday.

  • @103Uke latinamerica should have their own nhl.....

  • @su0700200

lol.. funniest thing i have ever heard. Keep to your sports -- soccer & baseball.

  • @BoiCanadian soccer n baseball??? who said something about baseball here??? if u call "soccer" to football in europe or southamerica...you'd better run cuz u'll get punched.....socccer is a gay word invented by north america to name football....football is the real name n is older than that stupid sport of the NFL that u name like that too. baseball is practiced here..but not so much....surfing is more popular here...even more than football (soccer for u)

  • lets face it Canadians suck at Soccer, Mexicans suck at Hockey...period. Each one with their sport k.

  • Mexico has more bigger people than Canada because it is ethnically diverse and has a population of over 111,000,000. I believe Canada has only 35,000,000. Hockey isn't popular in Mexico, hence the big gap in skill. Even though hockey isn't very popular in America we have so many people that there are roughly the same number of hockey players in America as there are in Canada, thus the talent levels are much closer.

  • @snake5891 I know Mexicans that are my height, and I'm only 5'7. It's the desire to win and the skill that's the end result, not the population difference nor the size in height. Look at the U.S and Russia, they have more people than Canada does and yet we still beat them in so many championships.

  • Comment removed

  • Guys You need some semi-profesional league in Mexico or one mexican team to be placed in some of the lower leagues in US. That would realy help. I wanna see You in division I one day!

  • Wow, those two teams are really bad. I feel sorry for them lol

  • My junior team back in 2007 played team Mexico, and we beat them 8-3.

  • I agree. But I am not disputing that. I am only mentioning that the idea that ALL mexicans are small is wrong. Descendants of Mayans and Zapotecs are smaller. Those coming from the Yaqui, Tarahumara and Irritila indians are big. Mexico City people are smaller. Those from Guadalajara or Monterrey are big. If Hockey ever makes it as a professional sport in Mexico you'll see big guys showing up to play it. The Mexican Basquetball league is full of players as tall as any in the world.

  • Just re-read what you just wrote. Do you think that playing soccer requires no physique?

When Hockey is played professionally in Mexico, and the players are paid as good as soccer players, there will be hundreds of big Mexicans to join the sport. Meanwhile it is just a curiosity.

  • It is true that in general Mexicans are of smaller physical size. But notice that I said IN GENERAL. In general most Americans are not the size of football players either. The Mexican professional athletes are bigger, faster, stronger than the rest of the population, just like everywhere else in the world. With a population of 110 million, there are more tall people in Mexico than in Switzerland, Canada, or Austria. Size is only part of the story, you still need skill and interest.

  • lol i can tell you are in your own world. mexicans come in all sizes just like everyone else. all my couzins uncles are 6 ft and taller.

  • i just checked the IIHF

    World Rankin has

mexico in place 32 of 48

    South Afrika place 41

USA in Place 5 of 48

    Canada place 1

give em some yearss... how many? i don't know

  • I live in Minnesota and I just got back from a high school hockey game and I swear the teams I just watched could beat these guys

  • Of course. So is it in any sport, long tradition with the sport produces better teams early. The Mexican National Team U17 gave a pitiful beating to the US College champions; 16 year old kids walking all over 21 year old men. Funny? Yes. Surprising? No. Those 16 year olds have probably been kicking the ball since they were 3, and they know how much money Mexican soccer players earn. They have a soccer career in mind. The americans will probably stop playing the moment they finish college.

  • Nothing to be proud man! Im from Mexico and I love hockey, but real hockey!! this is slow motion.. imagine this team against Canada... Luongo, Crosby, Iginla, Weber, even Bergeron....

Les deseo suerte, pero distan mucho de estar en la elite de este deporte... alguno de ustedes mide mas de 1.85? Se imaginan al lado de Chara de los Bruins...

Campeonato mundial de Hockey super pluma??

  • How small are the Canadian soccer players? If they are so big, why are they so bad at it?

And where are the Canadian boxing champions?

It is all a matter of interest in the sport.

And about the size. There are millions of big, tall Mexicans. Not 100 million but more than 10 million. How many do you need for a Hockey team?

  • that south african goalie is fucking huge lol

  • Mexico should stick to soccer, this is pretty poor hockey.

  • Like an over 40 league. Move your feet!

  • is this poncho hockey?

  • Porcino

  • HAHAHAHA You are so stupid

    F.u,c,k o,f,f

  • Suck my cock

  • hockey*

  • wtf mexico has a hocket team?

  • im a mexican and i didnt even know Mexico had a hockey team kinda weird and funny

  • Omg South Africas goalie is a MONSTER

  • I'd hate to see what Tavares, Stamkos, Hall and the boys would do against these guys lol.

  • haha Mexico plays hockey. Nice :) Good luck in the future!
