  • what a song choice for them... through all the crap and arguments; stand by me!

  • It could have actually been really good, if John wasn't so screwed up. If this had happened AFTER the "lost weekend," it probably would have been released as a legitimate album by the two. Instrumentally, this is incredible, and all the artists here are great.

  • unreal.

  • Sorry, man. This is fake. That voice is not John (rsrsrs). Good try and good imitators. Plus voice editing. This story has been taken as fake by many people. John and Paul was not talking to each other in mid 70's due to Apple issues ended only in 1975. Sound quality here is very digital to be true in 1974. Recordings were made in tape not digital in 1974. This is a digital recording, did you notice?. Tape doesn't have wide frequency range as digital. Not nocking your video, just a touch.

  • @TullioWalker If you had read any books or interviews you'd see that both Lennon and McCartney themselves mentioned this jam session to journalists and friends. The other musicians that were also present like Bobby Keyes and girlfriend (playing tambourine) May Pang also have talked about this night.

  • @eg463665 ok. But I still think this guy does not sound like John, it seems someone trying to reach his pitch. Paul's voice is closer to reality, but appears to be editing. I could be wrong, of course. An expert examination would be the best option to check it, perhaps. Just take a sample of the voices from regular CDs and upload them to the right software. It's assumed that the program will tell if both samples come from the same person. It would be an interesting test, but expensive.

  • @TullioWalker i assure you its lennon and mccartney, there are witnesses. and hes on coke so john wont sound right because hes incredibly high

  • @TullioWalker

This is Definitely Lennon & McCartney

  • the last time paul saw john was 1977. the last time they talked was sept. 1980.

john was invited the eric clapton's wedding, but joh declined. imagine if he went...the beatles would be together again.

  • It would be really great if someone edited the best portions of all three versions of "Stand By Me" into something that could actually be marketable.

  • LOL He isn't out of tune, he is just playing the wrong note on the second chord. I looked it up, it says producer Ed Freeman was playing bass. Who the hell is that? And this guy is a producer? And he can't even play a standard 4 chord song? WTF? Hey that should qualify him for a record deal and massive promotion judging by what passes as music nowdays. Maybe him and Lady GaGa can get together

  • Legends,Very Cool

  • Double Track Hell!!!

  • Aww the bass is out of tune. Man...

  • Ughhh The bloody bass is out of tune. Kill me.

  • It's great this album exists to prove to all the doubters that John and Paul really were friends and did make up to eachother after the breakup of the Beatles- especially with a song like this- a song about needing other people.

  • why?

  • It has to be remixed and remastered.

  • always great to find Beatle stuff I dont have.

  • @MsHeartsOnFire61 this is not john. Paul wasn't there.

  • WOW

  • Thanks! Great stuff!
