you said it was heavy, did you remove the metal weight from the undertube of the shotgun? i have seen a few other videos where they mention doing just that, which dramatically reduces the weight. im guessing its a lead weight like is in the grip of my old stinger p9

An M3 will fit on a G36/MK36 (Not the C or K variants.) And if it's mounted about a half inch off the gun, the bipod on the hand guard will be usable.

you should put a vid of u cockin n shooting for a demo. and maybe add a grenade launcher as a subundermount, and put in a scope or red dot for added awesomeness cuz itss already ridiculously baddass. laser sight and flash light for ur side mounts and a grip for some support. open the stock and some weight there to balance the weight distribution. put sling mounts for the times u get tired of holding it.

as for the glue, there was no other way to attach the rails. screws would have gone into the gun too far and damaged the firing.

I have a great idea you should look into. I have a UTG M56AL. I've wanted to mount it on my M4 for a long time. But the problem is, the length of it is 3ft6in! If I took the stock off it would be 2ft4in long. My M4 barrel is 1ft4in long. That leaves a 1ft protrusion of the shotgun at the front of the setup! So I'm looking into mounting a Umarex SG9000 on my M4. Its 1ft10in long and has no stock. There would only be a 6in protrusion. You should check out the specs of the shotgun on evike.com.

@TrevourAJones it sounds like the Umarex would be the way to go. it's closer and gas operated. just figure out a way to mount it (how I did or otherwise) and you got yourself an underbarrel.

theres a video by greek gadget guru where he makes a masterkey shotgun from a co2 charger. You should make one of those and attach rails to it. Only problems are it's one "shell" at a time so you'd have to have a a lot of them and load a new one every time and i don't thinks its very accurate.
