I own a GS500E bud... A GS is not going to outcorner a GSXR. The GS can't achieve the same lean angle, and generaly isn't desgined for it. Of course if you gave a new rider a GSXR and a pro racer a GS500...yes the GS will "coner" better, but it has NOTHING to do with the bike.

I learned on a GS, and still have it in my garage, great bike, but maybe you should check what you "know" about the GS. Sorry to be a jerk, but do you even ride or own a bike? Too many computer chair "riders" on here.

Actually ive had 4 gs500e's a 1992, (2) 1997's, and a 1995, an hd sportster, and a gix 1k, so yes i do know what im talking aout, plus i can do my own warranty work, so im no computer chair rider, ive over 31,500 miles under my saddle atm. if you dont know what a gsxr has to do in a hot corner vs a gs500, then not much i can explain. i never said a noob on a gs can outcorner a gix, maybe experienced ( or better rider) should have been added Eh?

You own 4 GS's and a sportster, yet only have 31,500miles under your belt? Your argument is moot. If you had riders of the same skill riding both bikes, the GS is not going to outcorner a GSXR. The GS can't physically get down as far as a GSXR and get the same turn radius. Sure the GSXR is harder to ride, and if you go into a corner hot the GS is more forgiving, but thats not what we are talking about, we are talking about how you think a GS is going to corner sharper than a GSXR in a turn.

And coming in hot on the same corner is gonna be different for each bike, coming in hot for the GS is going to be a slower speed than what the GSXR could handle. One bike is designed for this stuff, the other is not.
