  • Mmmmmm.....Nice easy roller this one - until 2:52, and then its a case of "Watch the ride!!"

I love the way many a back in the day Jungle tunes would start off all soft and floaty, then BRUK WILD and DARK on ya!!

Who are all these lucky bastards on here, apparently getting MDMA flashbacks after hearing this tune?? I took loads back in the '90s and have listened to this tune 3x back to back, and fuck all has happened!!.....apart from hearing some great music!!

  • timeless ultimate badbwoy and 9 + mins of pure vibes ; ))

  • IMMORTAL

  • Wait: There's a dislike bar? You tube should remove it altogether, tune is ridiculous.

  • fucking goosebumps and traces of MDMA running up my spine, man these are the tunes and those were the days!!

  • @MRPDS1 ha yeah! I'm convinced there are tiny little fragments that remain inside me somewhere that get triggered again when I hear stuff like this!

  • If only I were the age I am now back in the 90's. Such a great time for music.

  • Anyone else hearva cheeky bit of "fanfare for the common man in the strings on this?" I reckon the best tune that Paul has ever done. It's just fucking epic.....

  • authentic jungle ////

  • I remember this track from the old hit the decks parties.

  • awsome song!

  • The moment I see the name of this tune I knew which one it was going to be-without knowing the name of it previusly !!what-a-tune!!!

    Bukem used to rinse this...

  • RAGE DNB ALL DAYY

  • some of the first jungle i ever heard and wow, pure e's made it a breeze!!!

  • Jungle drums are beyond comprehension. The way they slide through, break after break, is beyond incredible. If anyone wants good jungle / 90's house, search up Soichi Terada. He's a legend.

  • The people around today wiv there 180 beat per min think they got the good tunes "MY ARSE .. BIG UP THIS TUNE an others like " ( BRING BACK THE LATE 80'S & EARLY 90'S ) PS SOUFF LONDON RULED IN THE DAY ... hahahahahaha

  • Labrynth ... go check it if you haven't already ;))

  • @pollski55 I checked it many times between '93 and '96, fond memories indeed. ;-)

  • kids take heed... this track was made before VSTi's, quad core, 8gb mem and 1tb hd's were around.... most prob made using midi and hardware samplers with x secs of sample time..... listen and learn.... classif stuff!!!!!!!

  • This track, for me,even when i have not lived the ferver of 90s Jungle, express feelings that i cant describe properly. Its so dark,it cuts through your heart and givwe you a mixed feeling of Crying and Happiness,Crying for the reason that we will never have such a incredible tune like this anymore, and Happiness because the DnB/Jungle world really exists and if i have not discovered internet i would miss tracks that changed my life forever.

  • Classic!

  • my hair`s on my arms wont go down

  • this really is special

  • top top tune!!

  • Words can't describe what i feel when i listen to this tune but i wish i could go back to those times of my shittie soundlab decks and the days of dreamscape and proper pills :)

  • Love it.

  • that was so sweet. I dunno, I find all this older jungle so much more interesting than most of the drum and bass I hear today. this song should be a response to current stuff, the way it chops the amen break up so nicely, whereas current stuff just plays it. shame that its the other way around

  • This track on Cream live 2. It was the end of the compalation...and I will forever hold all the tunes on this great ministry set as a milestone of youthful memories.

  • Nice video creator!! the tune speaks for itself

  • Great tune! This is how jungle music should be: extremely rhythmic, jazzy, atmospherical and a little sinister. Why don't they make this superb stuff anymore?

  • @Geitenfluisteraar You're right mate!

  • This is insane.

  • The vocals at 4:56 is one of my favourite things in any tune ever.

  • the bass drop at 2.52 makes me mess my pants :)

  • They don't make beats like this any more.

  • @joe2goo sad but true

  • Great upload junglemaniatico

  • They simply dont make em like this anymore. Musically the 90's were like the 60's for me, so many excellent tunes, maybe eventually these masterpieces will recieve the accolades they truely deserve.

  • @BumbleSlap I agree completely my friend

  • @BumbleSlap agreed, i always reminisce about 90s drum and bass, it WAS TRULY LIQUID! Shit now days is "wanna be liquid" Most people just dont have taste anymore. it all sounds like pots and pans banging together with no rhythm or melody. there are a handful of em still keepin it alive though fortuneatley

  • @BumbleSlap well said m8

n for fire...jungle needed dnb and dnb needed jungle; sinple as that. so dont be hate'n

  • word deep tune and I agree on the genres they are so similar its not worth debating.

  • The drums in this tune are great! Very nice rythm!

  • @stukadiving That's the legendary Amen break. Look it up. It's been used in 1000's of tracks.

  • while listening to this tune i forgot about whole world simply amazing

  • I've never hear this tune before but its real smooth and gentle. Love it.

  • man i love this song!!! i never knew the title of this...only had it on a old cassette tape. brings back fond memories of carefree early party days. first raves. first e.....etc.....

i so wanna be back in those times! sitting up late listening to the radio , recording mixtapes. this to me evokes both a nocturnal as well as a long lost summer vibe.

  • This is indeed a mighty classic, and most definitely best enjoyed late at night. Encapsulates the multi-faceted beauty of jungle music. What it is about that one breakbeat that still captivates me after 16 years...

  • I used to love drum n bass then I started listenin to jungle and legedary was the only word to describe I will never go back to drum n bass now i realise what a pile of crap it was compared to this!

  • word bro!i love this tune ages now, never get bored with it

  • A class!

  • One of the best jungle tunes ever made, I cant be the only who thinks that. Some of the roughest amen breakage ive heard.

Dropped this in so many sets, sounds dangerous whatever era its played in.

  • This is the kind of song you have to listen to late at night. You think about things while you listen to this. I don't know if it's just me, but I always turn off my lights when I listen to this. Helps me think. :)

  • thats the beauty of drum and bass :)

  • ... Amen brother ...

  • i just tried the late night, lights out on a sunday eve. havent listened to the tune in 5 years. my mind clears

    cheers for the idea

  • @XHauntX Couldn't have put it any better. Intelligent drum 'n' bass. I used to chill myself out to this and just drift away.

  • @XHauntX fair comment, I agree with you, proves how universal D&B really is.

    Modern electric jazz

  • @XHauntX Ur so damm right, man!

  • @XHauntX Its my understanding or guess, that by isolating your other senses you can concentrate on your thoughts more. At least thats how I feel. I sit at home with the lights off, and nothing but the glare of the computer screen, or with no screen on at all. This music kinda jogs your thoughts, gets the neurons firing, enough so I can get all the defragging done in my head.

  • @XHauntX I think its best at a rave in london, with a head full of pills. Thats what this music was made for.

  • the abstract aeons of peshay within the galaxy of neverending dreamworld!

  • One of my all time fave jungle tunes :)

  • this never gets old. Oh man what a tune!

  • BIG BIG BIG TUNE!!!!!!

  • i know these beats off by heart - 1 of my all time faves and all time first

  • Not only a lush melodic track - the Amen is fierce in this, and the Dark part of the tune ... KILLS me man !!!

  • only like one of the best drum'n' bass' songs ever made

  • can someone please send me a link for this tune on mp3 as i cant find it anyware big tune man

  • im speechless with this song, fuckin love the old skool rhodes proper dnb, how it should be, sounds very bukem on this big up

  • That is what you call music !

  • I'm sad but i can't resist finley chopped Amen breakz and this is one of the early greats!! Top class

  • hold tight spangala g, peshay awesome...in my top 5 of ALL TIME.

  • someone please make a piano tutorial for this song

  • The Future The Past The. Abstract Why Are You Talking In That Slightly. Silly Early 90s DnB MC Way? The Circumference. The Thesis. Hold Tight. The Masters. You Wot? ;-)

(it's in my top 3 jungle tunes along with 'Super Sharp Shooter' and 'Extreme Possibilities')
