I think that the thing that really sinks the film is Diego Luna. He really gets on my nerves with the exception of his physical performance, because he's obviously a great dancer. I think if a stronger actor had been given this part, it would have a stronger following.

Harmony Korine has done stuff others havent. he unlike others is INTERESTING. read between the lines and the guy is very clever and witty in what he does.KIDS took indie film to a new level and opened up the niche. His other works are variants on this. the man himself is a thinker and a workaholic. he should be admired.
