Len and Rin live in a post-apocalyptic world where there is no more culture and the world is covered in desert. They search for the "Desert Bluebird" because it'll save the world. They eventually find it, but Rin dies in the process. Len prays to the bluebird, and Rin wakes again, while the bluebird had disappeared. They continue walking, and reach the end of the world [the ocean], and continue traveling.
