É incrível como a Douglas Aircraft se esmerava na produção de suas aeronaves! O último DC-8 foi produzido em 1972 e mesmo assim continuam voando, é fascinante!

Lol, I was in Antigua in 2006. We're boarding a short flight to Barbados with the Retiered BWIA (BeeWee), and the DC-8 (63 I belive with some nice Pratt & Whitney engines) landed when we're walking to the aircraft. That aircraft is so noisy after the deloytion of the reversers. My ears were aching so much from just 20 seconds of reversing. But, it was my first & only encounter with the aircraft, and I will never forget it! DC-8 is the best aircraft to fly and always will be, ask any pilot!
