I don't remember ever hearing your covers of Tori. However, I think it's important to point out that you're understanding of peoples' comments on how covers should sound is either deliberately exaggerated or just plain wrong. Classical composers such as Liszt and Beethoven covered other composers, but they believed in "mixing things up". You don't actually have to cover pieces note for note. Today's classical music crowd is just too puristic for anything else.
@th3wing3dpaint3r And I also enjoy the challenge of learning the piano parts. I do NOT play them note for note, but some people think so. Those who take the time realize I do have a take on them. Oddly she is only one people get riled up about me covering. So I don't think it's me is what I'm saying.

@th3wing3dpaint3r I get what you mean. I meant that I keep the integral "hooks" in place because to me, that is as important as the melody.
