wow, your beagle will wear a harness? Our beagle, Baxter hates wearing a harness and will barely move or walk when we put it on him. It's actually kind of like an "off switch" for him, which can be handy when he gets out of control. haha

Same here. I think it's unique among us Beagle owners to call their pets by their breed name. Dunno why that is, but it would be kinda weird to hear people running around the dog park yelling, "Here Cockapoo, here cockapoo!"

my katie sleeps under the covers too, with her head on the pillow, and her nose in my ear (snoring). kind of like sleeping with a living stuffed animal. my hubby calls her "the beagle barrier"

omg I love that I have a beagle and she is the funniest thing at night she will get up constantly then she finily gets in her green chair and goes to sleep! Then in the morning right when my dad gets up her has to put her outside and we leave her out then my mom gets up lets her in and then lets her lay on her then i get up and i put her and then let her in we have a routin down good!!!

I think all beagles like to sleep under the covers. If we make the bed in the morning, Gus just forces his way under with his nose. It's easier to just leave the covers turned down all day (for his comfort & enjoyment, of course). Gotta love beagles.

I used to have a beagle what was like that in the morning.  I have ADD (like most beagles, how they lose track when chasing a scent).......and I'm not a morning person. It takes me forever to get up. My dad used to say that my dog was exactly like me. I miss him.

Go Jake! This is exactly why I love my beagle Milo. If I sleep in, he sleeps in. No 'take me out at 6am'. Love that our guy isn't the only one who sneaks under the covers.
