Fix hfs partition error and dual boot vista and OS X

Can i partition mac os x from there? Since im always getting a partition fail when i try installing it .

Hey dude, so yeah i didn't get the looping problem however when i type in -s and wait for it to allow me to input it says:

MAC framework successfully initialized using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 clusters I0 buffer headers

and then stays like that, any ideas?

I have tried booting normally using cpus=1 and maxmem=2048 but still it seems to load but never actually gets to the GUI.

Hello, young developer. To produce videos without camera shaking tripod may help you. Some cameras have remove, so you may see how it goes :D info is useful, but shaking is not acceptable :D

@TheFryT Try using another version such as iatkos or leo4all. The only dianosis I can think of is that your PC isn't compatible with kalyway. If you need some expert advice, log on to the insanely mac forum and search for your problem.

When I boot the Kalyway dvd the keyboard frozes, so i can not type anything on the command prompt. How can I solve this? Thanks

Hey uhh i got one question... i used to have two os on my com - vista and 7... when i installed the kalyway 10.5.2 and formatted my vista partition, the mac works but when i selected windows ntfs on darwin it gives me my old options - vista and 7... the vista has the same problem as yours while it doesnt even exist and when i pressed windows 7, the whole com reboots before it reaches windows 7 boot screen... i followed your steps with the windows 7 dvd and it's still the same... can you help me?

@conexito There is a easier way I used, that worked with Windows 7, and I'm sure it will work with Vista and XP. I had an old Ubuntu CD laying around, or you could download Gparted live from sourceforge, change the boot flags so they boot to your windows partition, then restart and windows should reboot, then download EasyBCD. Goto the "Diagnostics Center" pane, then click "Repair OS C HFS+ Partition Error". Click attempt recovery and follow the instrutions, then add a Mac OS X entrie.

@FischundCoProduction Hm, if you hit F8 on bootup try selecting the option to start startup repair, or select repair my computer, and then select startup repair. If that doesn't work, google out "Windows 7 Repair Disc (Your PC Architecture) 64/32 bit and download it, and try starting start up repair from it if the other options result in a blue screen.

I fix problem with "HFS+ Partition error" but i have problem with booting MAC OS X. When I start computer I can choose if I want Windows Vista or MAC OS X, but when I choose MAC OS X it stop on this: "Using ACPI RSDP revision 2 found at 0x000fe020".

I had same problem when I want install Mac OS X, but I resolved then I patched DVD with Chameleon Bootloader. Please help me. :-)

After installing windows 7 mac disapear from boot option then I had to reinstall mac os x 10.5.2 again it boots from the Disk if u take the disk out it says hfs + partition error

I had to watch u r clip and I followed the same steps again.

umm. i have 2 hd's and windows is on one and kalyway on the other..and has the hfs error. if i have my windows hd disconnected vista cant be effected right?
