  • hes doin pretty much the same moves and juts exagerating the movements

  • aww sweet, i remember my first year of juggling. chris is good for a begginer.

  • Great performance!! I've seen the Jason Garfield Bliss diss. Fundamental difference...Garfield is a COPYCAT!!! Nothing he did is as ORIGINAL as Bliss. He's a talented artist, but he needs to come up with his OWN shit. The Bliss performance is a CLASSIC, quit trying to shit on it, you look foolish and insecure!!

  • All the haters should just STFU.He kicks ass the crowd loves him and you are all just hatin.....get a life

  • Wonderful performance and talent unmatched....thanks

  • This is one of the most amazing videos I have ever watched....The guy is a genius

  • @stevedockins you serious? i could do this in my 1st year of juggling

  • This is amazing.

  • cool

  • This is NOT a juggling act. This is four and a half minutes of one of the most talented dancing performances I have ever seen - he just happens to use juggling as the dance form. I love the way he changes which musical instrument's beat he is following. Fantastic choreography and movement. Jason Garfield's juggling is probably more difficult; but as an entertainer he is definitely less enjoyable.

    Love strong, Love long.

  • chris bliss diss? hello?

  • 1. Jason Garfield's version is technically better, no doubt. But it has about one-fifth the soul of this one and (needless to say) zero percent of the originality. Also zero percent of the audience.

    2. The fact that Penn Gillette disses this tells me pretty much all I need to know about Penn Gillette.

    3. I never knew the juggling community was so riven with envy of another man's balls.

  • lol love all the juggling 'experts' input into this haha

  • WONDERFUL, WONDERFU L - FULL KUDOS TO CHRIS.....

  • does anybody else pee on the side of the toilet so it doesn't make as much noise?

  • lol i thought a ball got stuck on his head at 0:20

  • I cant do this.

  • Sure, he's not an expert juggler or anything, but he is a great showman though. IMO it makes up for the level of difficulty he is doing.

  • like honestly from a technical point of view, this isn't as hard as it appears. It's pretty minor moves that dont take much skill after cascade(which is what this is primarily composed of). When i first started juggling this guy showed me this, and it actually annoyed me because there is much more to juggling then "this".

  • @shoare61234

" pretty minor moves that don't take much skill "

I await your video showing us how easy it is.

  • @spacecowboy7580 honestly you could make a video in about a month or so doing everything he is doing. But in all actuality they really are the simplest moves of juggling.

  • @shoare61234

Ok...back up your words...make a video and do exactly what he's doing.

I'm sure you're all talk but I'm willing to apologise if you prove me wrong.

    PUT UP OR SHUT UP!

  • @spacecowboy7580 check Jason Garfield's diss video.

  • @spacecowboy7580 its simple

  • what's with the weird leg thing?

  • It's amazing how he juggled the balls to the rhythm of the song.

  • Watch the Chris Bliss Diss Video where Jason Garfield does this same routine with 5 balls......

  • Amazing.....

  • I almost couldn't bear that, it was so beautiful.

  • When you consider that this is an "ending to a comedy routine" it's pretty cool!! The performance moved me to actually cheer.... not because it was technically superior juggling..... perhaps because the guy has grey hair... he's not a kid... he didn't drop a ball..... he's a comedian... this is a sideline...hell I don't know!! Hahaha..and I don't care.. I just damn well liked it!! ~KK

  • FTW

  • Damm.... i really like this guy! xD

  • imagine how funny that would look if he was doing it with out balls

  • @TheGangagangsta - he'd probably look more like a girl

  • @TheGangagangsta this is the stupidest comment, I've ever seen :(

  • although a nice routine for non-jugglers, because it has a lot of expression, the whole hype of it is insane, jugglers like Sean mcKinney are way better 3 ball jugglers, or look at the video japanese jugglers or Viktor Kee! however the lenght of the juggling routine without any drop is still quite impressive!

  • The Simpsons is extremely successful and has generated more money than most, if not all, artists, many of whom are unknown by the non-art world. That does not mean than Matt Groening is more technically competent than Rembrandt.

  • what he hell does this have to do w/this vid?!?

  • I am not a juggler. I can barely throw one ball in the air and Chris is clearly better than I am at it. I am speaking as an unbiased audience.

Having said that, I have seen much better and more entertaining juggling acts, even by nameless non-professional buskers on the street.

Success and competence are two separate things. Chris is the more successful juggler, but he is not more comptent than many nameless buskers.

  • You can't improve the Mona Lisa by adding more brush strokes lotsof...

I've seen the jelous immitators using more balls and it looks like a chaotic mess. Plus they generate a feeling of sympathy for how tiny their lives are, rather than the feeling of wonder Chris Bliss inspires.

Chris Bliss's routine is much more representative of the music, and much more esthetically pleasing. Thats why he's so well recognized and no one has ever heard of the others.

  • @TheGameFather101 you might be right about the music, but the juggling is noobish.

  • SUPERNATURAL

  • I can't believe that certain jugglers are still making snarky comments about this act. I guess that proves that there's no end to envy, which of course has its roots in "Why didn't I think of that? I could've been on the Tonight Show!" Well, you didn't, and your snarky comments show what losers you are. This is a great act not because it's state-of-the-art juggling but because: 1. It's good juggling. 2. It's a highly original combination of good juggling and great music.

  • It's not that we didn't think of that, in fact, it's that he's not that good. I can do that and I'm 15. The reason we're 'snarky' is because there are so many jugglers who can do that with 4 or 5 balls. It's easy with three, so why are people so impressed? Because they can't juggle, so they don't know the difference.

  • @thishereguitar:

The funny thing is: EVERY juggler says something close to: "This is too easy, only non-jugglers who have no clue what is hard and what not will be impressed"

Then come 30 guys like you and say: "I can't juggle but I'm impressed as hell. Look, he had all flashy clothes and could juggle while musik played in the background. So clearly you don't have a clue"

It is NOT state-of-the-art juggling, it's ok, it's solid, it's a nice arrangement. Nobody disagrees, it's just not incredible

  • watch the diss, its much better than the performance of that Clown (hes of course a good juggler but it looks just as he would show of, most of these Tricks are easy!)

I dont wanna flame anyone, i just dont like him^^

  • Well, I'm a fan of Jason Garfield, and a (bad) juggler myself. You know, this isn't juggling, this is a performance, and is about musicality and interpretation. I Know, as a technician, Bliss can't even lace the boots of Jason, Vova, Thomas and Anthony, but as a performer, as an entertainer, he's good.

  • hmmm, yes, he is a good entertainer, but not for other jugglers like us ;-)! but i aree that he is at least entertaining for most of the people and thats whats the sense of his routine. Sorry for my mean comment^^

  • By the way, I think his work in Fatboy Slim's video "Old pair of jeans" in way better than this.

  • Yeah, but isn't that like a mediocre pianist who is goodlooking/funny/whatever?

It's all fine, let him earn some money whatever, but when it get's to the point that people start calling him "one of the best pianists" in the world, anybody who actually plays piano feels insulted... See where the hate comes from? ;)

  • No. That's like a mediocre pianist who can neither play Rachmaninov nor Jazz or Prog music, but writes and plays a great pop song. He'll never be able to play like Kevin Moore or Kenny Barron. The melody is simple, he's not a technician, but the song is cool. I agree with you, he's very far from being a great juggler and who says he's one doesn't even now what's talking about, but he's not a juggler, he's an entertainer. He's not a pianist, he's a songwriter. :)

  • Yeah, your example is way better, I agree 100% :)

  • @Ezechielpi

yeah, I see it comes from jealousy.

  • Awesome I loved it

  • freakin AMAZING

  • absolutely AMAZING! *****

  • Penn Gillette diss'd this big time. He got all snobby bout the "technical aspect" of juggling. Hahahaha ya Penn.... like we give a crap. Face it Gillette...this is a great PERFORMANCE.... not a juggling act. Also, the guy isn't exactly a kid. One take too!! No drops... no errors. LOVED it. Your gettin' old and grumpy Penn! Hahahaha. 5 stars for sure.

  • @3rdofTwelve what chriss bliss diss thats amazing

  • @3rdofTwelve Umm, you mean Jason Garfield -_-

  • With that said I am one of the few people who juggle as a career that enjoy the Chris Bliss routine because he knows his audience and he performs for it. He is just an intelligent performer.

  • I have to agree about those that diss. Why diss you are only upset because he makes a better show of it. I dont see those who are dissing Chris up on any stage.

  • Comment removed

  • I think he could enhance the performance by using brightly and variously colored balls. Just an idea.

  • On a show in France call Le plus grand cabaret du monde( the biggest cabaret in the world) he used flashy yellow balls

  • Muito bom! O melhor numero de malabares que eu já vi nesse mundo de Deus por aí! Chris Bliss RULES! 4EVER!

  • You know what I find funny? So many people talk about how there are better jugglers than Chris Bliss, but how many of them are stand-up comedians? This isn't his whole act, just a little side thing in addition to his comedy routine. Let's see some of those jugglers get up on stage and tell some jokes that don't bomb.

  • mybigbrother55- jajaja "nicer guy than you" do you know him, do you know me? I'm just criticizing his performance, I'm pretty sure that my comments here will destroy his career.. NOT... is youtube I can say whatever I want, but I'm say in it whit arguments, check out a real juggler (gatto, dietz) and you tell me..

  • I don't have to prove you a shit, oh and if you have something to tell me, you should tell me, how you supposed that I was goin to see this comment, you coward...

  • Comment removed

  • LZNico- I'll be watching your profile for a demonstration on how to more properly juggle....oh what? you can't provide? beat it loud mouth. this guy kicks ass and really he is probably a nicer guy than you too so he gets alot more respect from the ladies lol.

  • hi,---------------->

  • Very very impressing

  • I enjoyed it and was entertained, which means he did his job well. Good job!

  • Comment removed

  • I just can't believe how lame this is he does the same thing over and over again, and the most incredible thing is all the assholes saying that this is "amazing", this is a low punch to the jugglers community, this guy is the reason why the jugglers are called clowns, so sad... don't give up real juggling...

  • That's like telling a virtuoso musician that he's no good because he uses the same notes over and over. I have no idea if this is excellent juggling, because I know nothing about it. But the coordination with the music and presentation are wonderful and I love it!

  • .... maybe he deserved for his dancer or coreographer skills like you said, I asume that you aren't a musician but please enjoy the video you aren't a juggler either...

  • Actually, I am a musician, and have been one for 25 years. Since seeing the video, I've looked around and tried to learn more about juggling, so I now understand why you feel it is 'lame.' It might not be state-of-the-art, high end juggling, but it's pretty impressive and very enjoyable to the non-jugglers among us.

  • i would love to see you do better. juggling is much harder than it seems. if you cant do better shut your fat mouth

  • you seems to know so much, tell me how much tricks is he doing here and name them??? .. I' ven juggling for almost 5 years now, obviously I can do better tricks, anyone with more than 2 months of juggling can, you are not a juggler, please enjoy this mediocre video..

  • it's not the tricks themselfs... it's the whole rutine... infront of a live audience, in one take, without dropping ONE ball,

juggling for 5 years infront of a semaphore isn't something to be proud about you know?

  • thank you for keep given me the reason, it's not the tricks themselfs, it's the routine, so he deserves all the credit you want for that coerography or routine, whatever, but the juggling there is almost meaningless... "without dropping ONE ball" obviously!!!!!!! if you do that for +28 years at the end of your comedy show like he is been doing, I think you end up no droping.. and why the semaphore thing isn't something to be proud about?? I don't get that...

  • ... so your saying that this people are less or work less hard than this guy just because he's doing it in front of hundreds of naive people and not as fancy .. semaphore or circus or sports jugglers doing it for living and lead the art to the extreme, and that is a reason to be proud ...

  • i didn't understand shit about your comment, punctiation signs, use them...

    also reticulate better please

  • so, no response? good way to avoid my comment , or you don't have any arguments, that's what you are telling me...are you a juggler at least ? or you are just a guy who don't know a thing about it, and want to discredit the semaphore or any kind of jugglers ..

  • there was a response from me, i didn't avoid your comment i just didn't understood shit...

and i dont have anything else to say, i am not discrediting any jugglers, im just saying chris' routine was beautiful and creative, unlike the chris bliss diss from garfield, which he just did it with more balls, and was not creative at all

  • you are not the same guy who said "Juggling infront of a semaphore isn't something to be proud about" if that is not discredit those jugglers, what is that?? besides this guy routine is just one of the thousands forms of low skill juggling for people who don't understand a shit about it...

  • Comment removed

  • The tricks aren't particularly advanced (Garfield does a parody of this sequence with 5(?) balls), but the timing is brilliant, and it's mesmerising!

  • this guy isnt even cool

  • all this guy does is jerk his body around to make the tricks look good.....they are very simple tricks......kinda pointless

  • well 1) he does it in time to a medley of beatles songs and beatles make things cooler. and 2) even if the are simple tricks he's doing this after probably a 30 minute comedy show and unless you've ever been on stage you have no idea how hard that can be.

  • ive been on stage before. not juggling but putting on a performance with a giant fat suit on in front of the state of tennessee lol dont ask. but i still think that he should focus more on the ball movement and not his body

  • I don't see how anyone could watch this amazing performance and not be blown away by it. And consider him just standing there juggling, barely moving, while such dramatic and powerful music plays. Kind of pointless, huh? And, like this stuff is easy? NOT! Don't be so jaded that you can't appreciate brief, fragile moments like this. Considering the state the world is in right now, we should celebrate the wondrous things we are capable of, and how rare and precious the human race is.

  • So I look at that painting, and it didn't make me feel anything, because I was just looking at some random car picture.

Dunno if someone gets my idea, my english sucks, but I'm trying to say that art isn't what is well-made, it's what it represents to you.

When you watch those 2 jugglers, you don't say, "this one is better because he juggles with 5 balls", you think, "I prefere this one because it has more life and is more poetric"

Anyway, I feel kinda stupid now :D

  • na man I really agree wid wot r saying. Their both great jugglers just 2 completely different styles

  • It's more interesting watching this video than Jason's one.

Everyone seems to argue which one is best:

I once went in a museum and I saw this very pretty Picasso called "Scene de Rue" - 1900, (not very famous, at the San Francisco Museum) and I was like, wow that paiting was soo amazing!

And then I passed by another painting (which I don't remember the name) and it was the exact reproduction of a car, just like a photography, it was perfectly painted, shadows, dirt, light etc...

    Next ---

  • wow that was great! and to Jason Garfield... It takes a true artist to create a routine, not to imitate one.

  • I saw Chris Bliss do this routine after performing 30 minutes of stand-up comedy. Both parts of the act were wonderful!

  • lol

  • Aww, big deal. I could juggle better than this when I was 3 years old, asleep, AND with both hands tied behind me. LOL!

    VERY impressive!!!

  • WHATTTTTT!!!!

  • That's some serious hand-eye coordination there my friend. A+!

  • Well, Jason Garfield did a five-ball equivalent with very little effort. It's odd that people think this is juggling perfection, because it really isn't.

  • Jasons video was also edited....look at the camera angle changes...Jason is an outstanding juggler, but chris managed to coordinate this act without error.

  • That guy would be an amazing drummer!

  • Bravo! does he ever do songs silent so we can guess what Beatle song he's interpreting through juggle?

  • First time I saw this I cried...and everytime since. The song and the timing of the juggling just touches something deep inside you. Can't wait to see more of him.

  • LOL, faggot.

  • I totally agree, gomogo2000. Too bad that actually feeling something and appreciating this kind of beauty qualifies you as a "faggot" to some people.

  • Thanks for your kind comment moonchild50. I appreciate it. I thought it was kind of humorous calling me a faggot considering I'm a girl. : p

  • There's nothing humorous about your apparent misunderstanding of sarcasm.

  • i am waitin on my family history

  • Geez, this guy could probably sell tickets for somethin' like this.

  • im pretty sure that is what he was doing right there lol.

  • God! Look at the formation! Ain't he tired out after 4mins++?

  • damn. it's not just the routine that's awesome, it's that he did it with the music.

  • WOW, I'm impressed. Just basic, awesome juggling--for 4.5 minutes! He sure makes it look easy but I know it's not. Always have wanted to pick up oranges in the produce section of the grocery and juggle, but didn't want to get the boot when they hit the floor and rolled away. I think his "simple" juggling is wonderful.

  • it is very good. but the tricks are very basic but he put them together well in to a routine

  • thats crazy!!!!!

  • he is good at juggling to the music but the tricks are pretty basic. watch vova galchenko, jason garfield for real juggling.

  • wow, juggleman101, how about something like "if you liked that one, folks, check out these jugglers..." Wouldn't it be nice for once for someone to be positive, instead of negative. There's always going to be someone better - that's how life moves on. Maybe you should, too.

  • Wow! sorry i agree i should have said it like that i'm sorry

  • Garfeild dousn't do it as well as this guy. He did this same act and it sucked, even though he had 5 balls. There wasn't the perfection this guy had, and it was in more then one act. Garfeild is a poser and a jerk, true talent is humble.

  • Right on, odiero!!!

  • great!!!!!!!

  • incredible talent very rarely seen nowadays, well done Chris and thanks for puutting this on.. does anyone know where it was and when...

    thanks

    Lemmo...

  • wow-amazing. love this song.

  • Not only is he amazing at juggling, you can tell he has enjoying it. :)

  • Outstanding!

  • He's not juggling 9 balls on top of a 10 foot uni-cycle, but this performance is un-equaled because it touches your heart. I've never seen a juggler do that befor...just awesome!

  • Incredible! An excellent show!

  • Perfect.

  • Absolutely amazing! Monsieur Chris deserves an Olympic Gold medal for this stunning synchronized act. Get your agent to make a date for a prfmn. at the Genting Highlands Resort here. Rest assured you will bring down the house! sd goh (malaysia)

  • perfect...:)...

  • This is extremely creative! This performer pays attention to every details in the song . This is unbelievable

  • Good job !
