i know that but ther are like 9v plugs for it i think so if you use it for youre speaker you can hook it up on a 9v adapter and if you use it as a boddy pack you can hook up a 9v batery
@ljmike1204 You put fesh Li-on in before you start, and monitor during the event. It only takes about 30 sec. to change the battery. The Li-on will last aound 3hrs!
i have a pair of eons too. there awesome can't fault them at all, but I never put them that high on the stands lol, don't need to i think. great idea with the transmitter ill steal that lol.
Q! Great gig, you always get the interesting ones. Like the idea of using the Shure wireless transmitter for that. I wish Shure would make a stereo transmitter like the one Vocopro has. I think someone else makes a stereo transmitter with seperate receivers but i can't remember who makes it. Anyways, great vid once again.
Great gig log. It reminds me of the small town I live in between Erie & Pittsburgh PA. But, I love the wireless setup, and we both love powered Eon's! lol. I wouldn't go without them. P.S. No AC sucks, I've done a few of those where it was SOOOO hot the floor was sweating, no joke, it was soaked! Keep them coming! ~DJ Bo~
I would just use an ipod or portable minidisk player-set on top of the eon-they're both already battey powered-miniplug out to 1/4" into the eon-set volume & let run-works great every time
I also have run wireless setups simular to this. I do it this exact same way because the Bride and Groom want everyone outside to hear announcments, etc. so they come inside. But I do like your idea too. I've used my ipod for quick multi-room setups when they just want dinner music playing. ~DJ Bo~
Great thoughts, and you may have seen I use an Ipod for remote setups in other logs that I have done. The reason I went wireless was so that all 3 eons were playing the same music as you walked from inside to outside., and room to room
Hey Resq, Nice Gig! With The Wireless Remote Do You Have Any Interference Or Drop-outs? I Was Wondering When The Were Gonna Invent That! I Could Have Used That On Many Of My Gigs!
Het dave, none, I've had no problems except you have to change the 9volt battery in the pack about every 2hrs....but well worth it, other then that I've had them as far as 300' w/o issues.
Perfect on the wireless I wanted a bit more distance so I went with the FM and the cost of of aditional shure recivers is a bit pricey just a cheap fm radio for me but youe looked great!!!!
do u have a link for the wireless thing

@ljmike1204 I have not tred that, but I don't think so. The unit is a wireless reciever. mainly used as a bodypack receiver

Where did you get the rack mount for the P2T transmitter for the PMS-200 system? I am looking into this system for myself. Thanks

I find I get a better throw out of them when there up there, additionally their over the crowd so it doesn't seem to bother people

definitely go wireless if you need to make announcements as well -didn't think of that & yes, JBL Powered Eons are the only way to go for me too.
