OMG i have to say you have brought tears to my eyes, i felt like i couldn't do ANYTHING to my daughters hair at all & had all but given up and just would leave it & say to myself that she'll just face the same ridicule i did until shes old enough to put a weave or braids in it (she's 3) but you have inspired me to keep trying & don't worry about what others may say to me or her about not having "nice hair" or a lot of hair & to make her as beautiful as i see she is. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
i am so glad that you care for your kiids because some moms let there little mamas walk around lookiin bad but instead u take the pride to care for your girl's that is what you call a real woman thankss for takingg leadershiip and pride

Thank you and God bless you for what you do. I hope you never use chemicals in her hair to straighten it, and teach her to love what she looks like even when the world try to tell her its not beautiful.
Katie I tried to leave a comment on B's Hair Journey but i'm having trouble with it letting me post. i'll try here. In any case, I am so inspired by your videos and seeing the journeys, knowing that you, too, had to learn and start somewhere. it gives me great hope in doing my little girls hair when she is ready to sit still for me. She's too busy at 12 months old to allow anything more than a few finger coils in front.
I absolutely adore those twists!!! She has the perfect hair texture for them! My hair always straightens out when I do them ='( Keep up the good work!
I have to admit that I am an african american woman who has had a son for 17 years and then bam I have a beautiful little girl. I have had to learn now to do her hair. Now here we are 2 years into this journey and I am starting to branch out. I have to say that you are such an inspiration to me. I cannot wait to try some of these styles on my daughter's hair. I also have to compliment your daughters, they sit so well with no complaints. WOW. You really are a superwoman. Thanks for sharing!
I was 4 years old when I fell in love with hair. I didnt want barbie dolls to play with, but to do their hair. I even did my hair in 4 ponytails. They were messy but it was the best a 4 year old could do. You are doing an awesome job. And you couldnt have picked a better song to go with the video. <3
thank you so much for posting and helping my babygirl is now 10 and I never took the time to want to learn now i want to show her ways to take care of her hair and with your help I will be able to !! Cant wait till she gets home . I always thought i just wasnt able to do hair
You are doing an excellent job. It is amazing how much dedication you have put into learning and embracing your daughter's hair. Applause to you because you deserve it.

You do her hair so pretty. I just want to encourage you to keep up the good work, && make sure that you keep doing her hair natural & never let anyone encourage you to put chemicals on her hair just because she's black. Because once you put those chemicals in her hair your gonna wish you hadn't done that. So stay with the all natural looks && keep up the great work!God Bless
Wow, I'm teary eyed... So many times i see white women with beatiful black girls and their hair is ALL OVER THE PLACE. But you've just proven that it doesn't have to be that way. You're a wonderful mother, keeping your girls hair done and so pretty and presentable. I love your videos. Do the damn thang girl!
I'm actually in tears. It's refreshing to see someone take so much care of our hair. I'm a hairstylist and it's heart wrenching to see little black girls walking around with nothing done to their hair because too many of us don't want to deal with the naps and tangles that GOD gave us. I'm overjoyed to see that you embraced it and made it look absolutely adorable and age appropriate. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL BE AN ENCOURAGEMENT TO THOSE WHO NEED IT. Our Girls Are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

Katelynlyn, I have to give you your KUDOS. I have seen MANY caucasian people that have been blessed with the task of caring for children in need, especially black children and they take no time to learn about how to care for their hair. You have done an amazing job in learning about a necessary as well a vital component in your daughters growth and life. Our hair is our crown. I know because you have taken the time to learn, she will be able to take very good care of her hair herself.
