well its funny that people dont understand gold standard, and prefer colorful toilet paper with pictures of presidents on it as value. perhaps you should learn about the Breton woods agreement. it would give you an insite to how america defaulted on all our promises by removing gold from our currency.We america promised to repay our debt(dollars) with gold and when the time came to pay up we said FU.Learn that a dollar is a promis to pay, not actual payment.It helps to research what u dont know
