Bullshit, who wants a linear narrative spelled out to them in a song, with no room for interpretation? If the lyrics say nothing whatsoever to you its cause you havent let them. Surely its not too much of a stretch to think the singer likes to write lyrics that are somewhat cryptic and open for the listener to read into them what he or she wants. Did you first listen to Imagine and think Imagine what people John!?, imagine them where!! Fuck this shit, I need more of an explanation!!
