Man, for serious, I gotta admire your ability to do so well on every stage you play! I find it hard to see the arrows on stages like this, even though they look so neat!
Oh, that one outdoor stage is WOW bad to play on even though it looks awesome because of visibility issues. It makes me want to have a screen filter option so I can work around that. Usually it picks the darker stages so it's not that big of a deal, but sometimes the 200 combo animation throws me for a loop. Especially on roppongi Evolved, where it'll actually affect the framerate when the Wii is set to 4:3 screen aspect ratio because of the amount of arrows. Doesn't affect 16:9 thankfully.
On DDRX and X2 in the options tab there's an option that puts a dark gray screen behind the arrow graphics so you can see them clearer. Comes in three darkness settings. If you ever check out a DDRX video chances are you'll see someone using it.
Most of the time, the animations don't obstruct my view. It's really only on faster songs where any issues might crop up. Especially if there's a lot of arrows.
Still can't believe how close I was to AAA'ing this the last time I played...

Ooh, true! Awesome yet impractical in terms of visibility, even though the 50-100-200+ combo animations are so rewarding to watch...
But what is a screen filter? Would it make the screen darker or something?

Ooh, I see...D: That could be useful!
Ooh, true. Or the color of the arrows, especially "Note" and "Rainbow"...
