  • This seems like a great recipe! My boyfriend is a big fan of asian food. But I don't really get along with mushrooms, can they be left out without ruining the flavor?

  • Made this for my parents; they all liked it, mum in particular. Thanks!

  • LMAO you guys always make me laugh!

  • so i did this and i definitely killed it with the lime. can i do without it next time?

  • Your mom

  • >.< Im thai ~

  • fcuk u

  • The commentation in the video is brilliant. "Right, I'm going to stop you there. I'm slicing some onions..." "I thought you were going to say something." "No, I just wanted to stop you there."

  • just letting you know that thai's never eat with chopsticks..they use forks and spoons.

  • @babibex44 Then you've never been to a noodle stand LOL

  • @ZacharyWeekend but i have been to thailand...

  • @babibex44 Yes but i lived here in Thailand for 18 years (all my life). When they eat noodles they use Chopsticks but when they have soups with rice, yes they use forks and spoons. Sorry for coming off as a little smart ass with that comment. But it is the truth.

  • Ok Im Thai and this is not Thai food but it's kinda like Tom-Yum soup with bok choy which by the way we won't put it in the soup. But if you like mushrooms you could put all kind of mushrooms in the same pot and it would still taste good...well even better i think

  • makes me think of tom yum soup in thailand, I love thai food and the bangkok as jamie mentioned lmao

  • Pak Choi! Chinese cabbage

  • Good but I made it without the Ginger and added some coconut milk

  • HEY guys have you ever thought of making dango <3

  • nice attempt, guys...but not authentic at all! in thai cuisine, we don't really use ginger =)

  • Could you substitute the prawns for some cooked chicken if you wanted to? I'm not really a prawn fan but it looks like a yummy recipe anyway

  • @xCupCakeKittenx Sure thing, give it a try...should taste great!

  • make a korean hot pot please!!!!

  • ive only started watching you guys yesterday and i've already made 1 of your recipes and im 16 and suck at cooking, but it was pretty good ayyyyyyeeee

  • @krazychicken101 Glad you found us! What recipe did you cook?

  • @sortedfood tuna linguine :DDDD

  • i should study physics now... but i prefer your vids... definetly.. yummy!!!!

  • is it a lot like tom yum?

  • @hendun12 Not far off actually...

  • @hendun12 its not tom yum. its little coconut curry with egg noodles..

PS: im american thai and i know a lot of thai food

  • like it

  • do you have to put the chilli in?

  • @orfork Not at all - it's more traditional, but if you don't like it that's fine!

  • @sortedfood thanks :D

  • i love your shows :) im Thai and i have to be very thankfu for this video. but i have been cook the same kind of rice noodle that you use in this video when i was in America. It doesnt taste like Thai noodle at all and i dont recommend to use that product. thanks for making all delicious FOOD :)

  • Do you think you guys could do an extremely easy recipe for someone who barely knows how to use an oven but impressive enough for a guest?

  • @zetabyte99 How about something like our Jambalaya, really easy but looks and tastes great!!

  • did anybody notice he smacks her tits?

  • He hit her in the tits in the beginning :P

  • that looks SO frickin goooood!

  • Could you guys do a video on a easy Vegetarian Chinese stir fry please??

  • Fish sauce is amazing I've learned. I wish it were easier to find in the states, but I can only find it in oriental groceries. All I wanna do is make Chinese scrambled eggs at home.

  • @BootsieBunny42 yeah too bad. you can only find it there but they have a very big bottle for it! and it take time to use it very very longggg. hope you have some oriental store by you :)

  • the original Thai spicy soup we use another kind of the ginger and taste different

  • @AlannakitA is it galangal?

  • @izzih1234 yes it's call galangal, in Thai it call KHA

  • @AlannakitA Thanks! : )

  • You've got all sorts of international food! I was wondering if you could make anything korean and that's including how to make kim chi? You guys are awesome :)

  • @DisabledToy Can certainly add it to the list of requests for you :0)

  • @sortedfood yay! i asked for a korean dish a few days ago too! :D really hope you guys can make one! :)

  • @DisabledToy Yeah man, sure. Bit of Fook Yung Dog. You'll be barking mad to miss it!

  • I really hate the Fat Guy, so fucking annoying -.-

  • SORTED....ask that girl to marry me.....

  • cany you use udon noodles?

  • can u make vegetarian food?

  • Can you make pho?

  • @aquastarj

It takes a long time.. o.o

  • I've tried this a couple of times with rice noodles. Comes out amazing. BUT, if you don't have lemon grass/ not too fond of fish sauce, tamarind soup base (like the one used for tom yum) is sooo good. :)

  • soooo made this and it was a fail. i went too overboard with the lime. it was good but too tangy. tried to balance it out with the fish sauce but didn't want to put too much in. any suggestions for the next go 'round?

  • woah! actual pot noodle! bound to impress if you give it no further description xD

  • This taste amazing and I have been mixing and changing vegies and noodles and meat/fish that goes in it Extra Chilli ginger and garlic when you want that kick too!! :-)

Brilliant. Keep up the amazing work guys!!

  • Too much ingredients :/

  • @misk1982q8

    it's basically a hotpot.. western version. :D

  • 3:18 I believe you re talking bout ping pong show hahahahahaha

  • And it's also going well with rice and boiled egg...Try it once

if u need more flavor just add a dry spice or/and lime juice in it.. it save my life when i'm missing home ;)

  • น้ำปลาไม่เลวร้ายขนาดนั้นนะ :) ถ้าไม่มีน้ำปลาเหมือนกับว่าอาหารจะไม่อร่อยเลยล่ะรู้ป่าวว

you know fish sauce is not bad :) ..i think the food will not tasty when without fish sauce.

  • can you guys try a Pad Thai recipe?? (Noodles+ Satay!) it's be awesome =D

    thanks!

  • Fish sauce is actually really good if you're used to it. It is kind of essential in Southeast Asian cooking.

  • fish sauce is delicious. to those who think it's disgusting and have tried cheese, it's not that different if you think about it.

  • sorry, but that is disgusting

  • @shiZGFX yo face is disgusting

  • Can you skip the mushrooms? I really don't like mushrooms >.<

  • will it taste the same without the fish sauce?

  • @Maddied96 Not the same... but there is so much going on in this dish to excite the taste buds that if you had to leave one out (for whatever reason) it would still be great! :D

  • Btw, this music is my favorite of all your videos. Props to Mike.

  • That was very naughty Jaime! YOU SMACKER HER BOOOOOOOOB >:(

  • booooooooobbbbbbbbb touch :DDDDDDDDDDDD

  • lmaoooo ima stop you there that dude talkign bout the balls madd funny

  • why do people eat prawns with shells? they taste awful, why not just de-shell them?

  • she cant cook ..

  • Jaimie likes this girl.

  • request: Pad Thai!

  • 0:09 Boob touch

  • how about sorted's version of pho?

  • I love this channel, I've made loads of recipes from it and they've all been easy and delicious! Thanks Sorted!!

  • Can anyone suggest an alternative to prawns? This recipe looks completely delicious but I just do not like prawns at all! :S

  • @alicerchalk Slice up some chicken really thin and poach that in the broth instead.

  • @alicerchalk you can do chicken or fish... that's how thais do :)

  • @alicerchalk

I make this type a food a lot at home, usually to substitute for shrimp/prawns you can use tofu, some bits of steak or like someone else suggested, chicken!

  • That's just a Tom yum you knob! Not pot noodles!!!!

  • is lemon grass essential? I'm allergic to it...

  • @avrilidol no but then the noodles wounldnt have as much flavor so try finding lemongrass substitutes like fresh grated ginger and lemon zest?

  • It looks like you made Tom Yum! :) They actually do have a dried version of it by this brand called "Mama" But I like your recipe more that the dried stuff.

  • Can u do fish and chips

  • "the balls weren't where you thought they were and there were balls where you thought there weren't gonna be balls" hahahahahahaaha just came back from thailand and htat made my day

  • Could you make a Korean dish? Something like Galbi, or Kimbap?? :)

  • HI SORTED!

what can i use to replace stock? :-)

  • i'm getting so hungry watching your videos. very tempted to sneak a midnight snack XD

  • when u took out the spring onions i screamed "NEGI" (the japanese way of saying green onion)

  • this is making me feel so hungry

  • Where do you get those noodles? I cant seem to find them anywhere

  • @beckyboo1001 we picked ours up in the local supermarket... most UK supermarkets have a 'world foods' isle now. It was in there!

  • @sortedfood I seem to find more of the Udon and Soba noodles in the Organic section as well.

  • @beckyboo1001 u can also get the noodles at an asian supermarket.. :3

  • @beckyboo1001

    use rice noodles?

  • second 10, he hits hers boob xD

  • e-e they forgot to rinse the poop out... Yummy nam nam nam poop shrimps....

  • YouTube is teaching me how to cook!

  • @NothingsBeatleProof and hopefully enjoy the process! :D

  • Your a lifeline

  • i like that ben normally is super fast at chopping but that ginger :s it's going a little slow :D loove, sorted!

  • is there something that you can add instead of lemongrass? my supermarket doesn't/didn't have it when I did my shopping.

  • This made me REALLY hungry :'(

  • NOODLES :DD

  • i'm a thai but i think i've never seen this before. it's like a fusion food between japanese's (for noodles) and thai's (for soup).anyways it looks tasty. :-)

  • i made this with my father yesterday and it was really good! we're both horrible at cooking but this was so easy to make :)

  • @lovelyNERD20 That's what we like to hear! :D

  • There isn't something like this in Thailand :D

    But it's pretty delicious anyway

  • never see in Thailand

  • can you make a detox friendly recipe please? thanks

  • Pak Choy? isnt it bok choy?

  • @BobsAreHot Pak Choi and Bok choi are two very similar chinese leaves.

  • @BobsAreHot It's the same Chinese leaf, just different translations. In Chinese it's 白菜, literally "white veg".

  • I'll try it!

  • just a suggestion... shell the prawns but keep the shells and heads (crush them a little), and use it to make prawn stock for this recipe.

on a side note, you can use prawn stock for malaysian prawn noodles as well :)

prawn stock, prawns, chili oil, chili paste, water convolvulus, crispy fried shallots and the oil used to fry them in, fine chicken breast shreds (or pork), salt, sugar, yellow noodles (or vermicelli).. sorted!! :) haven't tried adding coriander in it, but think it'll work. hehe

  • @FS11111 We kept the shells on as it gives great flavour into the broth as you cook them... but it also makes the eating of them a bit trickier. Although a little more time comsuming your idea is brilliant. And the noodle dish sounds amazing!

  • what kind of noodles are those? i've never seen noodles like that in asian soups

  • @born2live These are udon noodles... not thai at all but Japanese. I prefer them and think they work better here so that's why we used them. As @TheWhatTheChannel points out we aren't doing 100% authentic but our twist on a great idea that still tastes awesome.

  • @sortedfood

    ahh thx

  • I am thai, and this is totally not thai at all.

    the noodles aren't even thai.

  • @TheWhatTheChannel

he mentions they aren't in the video...he prefers nonthai noodles so he put 'em in

  • any chance you could do a quick Sushi recipe ?: )

  • Could I add some soya sauce to this?

  • Would I be able to make a version of this with coconut milk? I love creamy Thai curries and soups.

  • @solidfever Funny you should say that! My initial thought was to add it myself... but left it out as I felt the number of ingredients was expanding out of control for simple recipes. But it does taste good with a little drop! ;)

  • Could you make this with rice noodles instead of wheat? I'm allergic to gluten.

  • @thetasigmas

    it should be possible,

  • awesome subbed.

  • This is so quick and so tasty! I'm really impressed!

  • @thegummybearmonster Glad you like! :D

  • Is this similar to ramen at all?

  • 0:09 jamie does a boob slap

  • @lilmissunperfect21 i know hahaa

  • about the fish sauce, does it make the pot taste very fishy? in that case, can you use something else or how importent is the fish sauce? I don't like that typical fish taste and I don't eat fish so that's why I wonder. :P

  • @zubiila Fish sauce smells worse than it tastes. It provides a depth and saltiness to the dish. But instead (although different in flavour) you could use soy sauce.

  • You can eat kaffir lime leave, it's good for your health. Just slice it or you can fry it to make it easy to eat!

  • I suggest you should crumple the lime leave before add it in the pot

you'll make the lime leave emit its smell.

(i'm sorry if my english is not good cause i'm thai!)

  • without the noodle,I think this is the same way and ingredients for how to make Tom-yum-kung(thai spicy shrimp soup) anyway your thai pot noodle look so tasty. :)

  • Comment removed

  • I've done this recipe with few changes.. I don't really like shrimps so I used instead.. and that time i didn't had Fish souse so i mixed Garlic vinegar with sugar .. Turned out to be Awesome! u should try it (Y)

  • The Show works so brilliantly, the contrasting humour and seriousness

  • Any way of doing like, a steak dish or something?

Or fish and chips, Sorted style ;)

  • Actually James hit both of them 10 seconds in, he did it deliberately, it's kind of what he does. I'm sure he expected the girl to be slightly taller, and didn't mean to whack her tits.

  • "you get all the flavour off the wrist!" haha ;p

  • i can make chips and dip

  • there should be a veggie burger recipe.

also, itd be so cool if you guys would make a category for the vegetarian recipes so people dont have to look for them on the main page.

  • I'm surprised there's not more comments on him hitting that girl in the tit at 0:10

  • I love these videos and the food looks great. but I'll be honest, the two people on the side distracted me the whole time from what was going on in the video.

  • I was like, what the heck is pak choi? I'm asian and I don't even know what those are. Turns out that they were bok choy. Ahaha.

  • at 0:08 you hit the lady on the left

  • @FuryzPKz Jamie (the guy in the middle) hit both Ben and the lady! It was meant as a joke, I guess! He's funny in that sense.

  • Brilliant! I'm going to cook that soon.

  • i didn't understand a word the guy in the white shirt said. sorry

  • LOOOOVE Thai Food. :D Although I prefer Thai curry best.

  • I wish you guys made more vegetarian stuff. Broke vegetarian college students get hungry too!!
