  • My friend Barry and I used to laught over this as he played it on their phonograph back in the late '40s in Upper Darby, PA. Lotta' fun, back then. Not so much political correctness back then. Lotta' pain back then, too, now that I think about it, what with all the childhood sicknesses gone through, and just before penicillin, too. Ah well! We made it to 71. Who'd have believed it?

  • good old Arthur i never missed a show when tv came out i had the radio on at one end of the house the tv on the other end as i helped my mother do the weekly house cleaning every saterday cause i was a boy my job was to wash the woodwork then i would put on the home town frolic with don larkin as he would say its larkin barken aaaaaaa the good old days i like this song as much now as i did then thanks
