The Commerce clause doesn't apply. The Commerce clause was intended to keep states from ripping each other off. All the powers allocated to the branches of Government are explicitly defined in the Constitution and none of them include federally regulated Healthcare.

What did the Democratic mayor do with all the money that was suspposed to be used for the dikes? How many people live in New Orleans? Help was sent within 24 hours. The state did not do it's part.

This bill will be repealed actually.
If not by Congress then because of the economy crashing.
If the supreme court would do their Job, they'd take these lawsuits seriously because the bill is in fact Unconstitutional.
The Commerce clause doesn't apply. The Commerce clause was intended to keep states from ripping each other off. All the powers allocated to the branches of Government are explicitly defined in the Constitution and none of them include federally regulated Healthcare.

There are also polls stating a significant portion of democrats are against this Bill.
There are also polls showing around 80% are against this bill as well.
