interesting how the red shirted woman isn't even letting the weigh fully take over, just make accurate powerless swings and it bashes through like nothing, she's holding back lol.
You always seem to use some soft wood. I would be really happy if you would throw you invention against some heavy duty knot chunks, or other woods. It's true that anyway straight grained wood splits well. But if you want to sell it worldwide i would suggest you test it against some oak with big knots. Thanks
THE LEVERAXE uses LEVERAGE. At the fraction of a second when the blade touches the block it leans to the right nearly 90 degrees. The blade penetrates into the wood only 5 millimetres ( a fifth of an inch) on an optimum strike, so the FRICTION is almost NON EXISTENT. The KINETIC ENERGY is now turned to the left and the blade spreads the wood up to 8 centimetres (3,5 inch) Hold the handle GENTLY so that it can ROTATE in your hands. Use soft gloves, NOTHING WITH RUBBER. NO ACCIDENT
@leveraxe I like the design of this finnish spiltting axe very good but i dont think it has the weight to spilt some american hard woods. Still a nice axe wish to have one to try but it would have to be a little on the heavy side to split some hardwoods in some parts of america happy spiltting
@STORMLORD70 Thank you for your opinion. First time in the history of the axes the friction is nearly non existent. Leverage multiplies the splitting power up to 30 times bigger than in conventional axes. On an optimum strike the axe blade penetrates into the block only 5 millimetres, but it spreads the wood even 8 centimetres, 3,5 inch. The harder the wood the better the leverage functions. You won't get any chocks to your hands either. Hold the handle gently to allow the rotation.
You are of course entitled to your opinion. But i think it is a totally stupid idea (axe). Its ESSENTIAL to save wear on your hands. Or any other wear on any other part of your body.
I have not tried this axe. But i know from many long work-sessions with my axes what works. Its HOURS that counts! Day after day for several weeks . . . .
@suequntf Read inventors comment, When you hit the axe you should loose your hands, so turning effect wont harm you. After you use this axe for a moment it will become easier.

@suequntf My horse drawn buggy works too, but that doesn't mean it's the best transportation available.

Its a dumb axe!
Its unbalanced and when it hits the wood it turns sidways to increase the splitting effect.
In every hit it turn 45 degrees or more. That will wear out your hands quickly. The shaft is way too long, and the support is to low.
But it would be interesting try one, just to know how it feels....

intersting response from someone WHO HAS NOT USED ONE!
this axe is WAY easier to use than a normal axe.
