After 12 years she returns on stage .Natural sound just like flowing water but, contains all genius of Mozart . Her return was successful with high praise.

Before long World War II took place. Because she was Jewish,she had to flee for refuge. During refuge she got cerebral accident and survivved barely after big surgery.Till the end of War she stayed only in the refuge. First recording at 52.

From then concert tour with Arthr Grumiaux violinist.The happiest time !

I love her too, she is well known in Germany...I heard her on the radio for about 30 years....she sometimes also can be seen on German television, it exist a nice film about her live and her friendshipship to Dinu Lipatti

Clara Haskil was one of the greatest interpreters of Mozart, an amazing Romanian pianist who was never given the value she deserved till the last years of her life, and apparently she's still quite unknown this is why there are no videos of her or people comenting about her here on youtube. The music in this short video is great, sadly I don't understand what it says in it.
