I really hope to eventually hear your stuff in an Indie game that sells millions. I want to see you get known and respected by an even larger community! It's my dream to do the same, but I'm steps behind you, man. Keep up the damn good work!
@Godknown thanks a lot! really appreciate the encouragement. i'd love to find that kind of success, for sure - who wouldn't! something i'm working on right now has potential for some interest but i have no idea how much. but i'm keeping my fingers crossed and trying my best anyway :) so much in the industry is just down to dumb luck, you just have to put yourself in the best positions to take advantage of it.
@FrizzlerGuy thanks kindly. i've been delighted by the guys making stepfiles for my songs, and grateful to know that they're reaching a wider audience due to it!
Wonderful song. I especially like the conclusion - the noise seems reminiscent of waves washing up on the beach. I can easily picture imagery to fit this song. Very memorable sounds.
I was just listening to music on Last.FM from my Xbox.. next thing I know this song comes up.... no picture, no details or anything, so I decided to look it up on YouTube.. and Wow! All I have to say. :D
I don't know very much about what you're doing to make those remixes, but I'm very interested in Game Music and I can see that this is skilled art. Good job!
Your project file might not be gone forever. Some utilities can extract data off a defunct hard drive, even if parts of it are corrupt. It's worth a shot ;)
i think the drive had a mechanical fault rather than a software fault :( it was working one minute then it just fritzed out and i got bluescreened, and i couldn't get into windows again. i tried slaving the drive too though last time i tried chkdsk interrupted startup and threw a hissyfit. i'll probably try again at some point, but eh... might be psychologically more beneficial to just forget about it :P really sucks about the project file though ..

The intro reminded me of LED Storm's theme.

I discovered this video related to a song covered by MexicanSunflower on his squarewave9 channel. I am SO glad I clicked on this!

I close my eyes and see the most epic Gameboy Game EVER.
I want it, despite having no clue what it is. And knowing it doesn't exist. Yet.
That's how good you are at this.
