I grow my own Virginia Gold. Can you help or give ANY tips on the fermenting process please. I lost my whole crop last year, This year, I made a homemade Kiln out of a black box. I use a pierced bottle with sponges to hold water for humidity and try to keep the heat at about 100 to 125 degrees. I use the sun for heat. So far so good on my first batch but I still cant get it right. Trying to be patient but im ready for a big batch now and I dont want to screw up another crop. Any advice????
