  • Im 16 now and i agree with you guys LONG LIVE THE 80s!!!! GOD BLESS THE 80s Those were magical times that can never ever be duplicated i Just wish i could have been able to live through them but hey atleast now i can listen to this and watch 80s movies so technically I AM IN THE 80s kinda lol :))))

  • You know, I felt like I was on that road trip with you with this awesome Survivor song and your pictures. I remember playing this song over and over again, driving my friends crazy back in 1986! Thanks for posting this, it brought back some great memories!

  • Awesome song this is very hard to find bc alot of radio stations dont play these type of songs anymore I have Sirius/Xm and I hear these type of songs on the 80's channel but thanks for putting this song on I am from Newark De keep up with putting these type of songs here on you tube

  • A great song from Survivor! Reached the Billboard chart in December 1986! I miss those days of when I was a student at community college back then. I get misty-eyed just thinking about those times.

    Bravo, Survivor!

  • what do these photos have to do with love....you love vacations?

  • They defined POWER BALLAD.

  • I don't get it

  • this is massachusetts.

the wrentham premium outlets are in wrenthem,ma

  • I was trying to figure out where this was filmed and I think it is Connecticut. Could someone please tell me. I thought I saw a sign for Hartford. The only state with a Hartford is CT. My state has a New Hartford. I know it wasn't filmed in Iowa, the scenery is different.

  • @80sfreak1979 Hi, I took those pictures when I drove from Mass to CT.

So, you're right the sign of "Hartford" is the state of CT.

  • @merrymyu97 Survivor's best song. Is all of CT that flat? I'm from Tallahassee, and it's much hillier here in old flat Florida. Obviously summer too.

  • hahaha. i also like this song...

  • love the 80's song. Bring me back.

  • @merrymyu97: Well done; I totally agree with you when you assert that this was Survivor's best song! I absolutely *love* this track!

  • @brodiebanky thank you! This song is the most favorite.

  • Whoever put this vid up, interesting you put pics of planes and airports in it. When I was a kid I used to listen to this song whenever watching planes coming in and landing at the San Jose International airport so everytime I hear this song it always makes me think of jet airplanes landing. What a coincidence!

  • @CameronShaft Yeah, what a coinsidence! I just use the photos I took when I traveld US but I' m glad to read your commment.

  • I am proud to say i lived the 80's and it was a great time to live, and a time in music. :) Love to relive the 80's again.

  • Great song!!! Jimi Jamison rules!!! What a voice this guy has. Survivor is so underated. Long live JIMI JAMISON!!!

  • @sgtlim88 Jimi Jamison is from Houston, TX

  • @25phillycheesesteak Jimi Jamison was born in Mississippi, but considers himself a Memphis native, where he grew up.

  • @allang39, i know what you mean, me too i wish could turn back time!

  • oh snap!! i remember this now.. if it wasnt for the hook id def never remembered... at first i thought someone just mistitled the whitesnake song..ha! anyway what was this music for.. solely movies?? b/c it wasnt on the radio.. or atleast i dont remeber the radio playing a lot of music like this.. i mean pat benatar and the people who did the mannequin theme song dont count.... now the music that was in the mannequin movie sounds just like this....so is this soundtrack music only?

  • @tygerrstile are you saying this sounds like Starship's "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now," from the 1987 film Mannequin? Surprsingly, it was nominated for an Academy Award, (but lost to "I've Had The Time of My Life," from Dirty Dancing.) Belinda Carlisle and The Temptations also had songs on the sountrack, but not Pat Benetar. "Is It Love," from Survivor's 1986 cd When Seconds Count, was all over the radio, reaching number 9 on the Billboard Top 100 and a hit in numerous other countries.

  • LOVE IT.

  • this song was so hard to find on here guess so since it was blocked for some reason kept getting some other rock band.

  • Is this Jimi Jamison? If so, it is love.

  • these kinda songs just make an instant connection to the 80s, god how i sometimes wish i could have been born a bit earlier, to experience the 80s at the fullest.....

  • @ALIDH88

I had my peak in the 80s, being 23 in 1980. I can tell you it was indeed INCREDIBLE, never to be repeated.

  • you're right! ;) i was 15 in 1980. one of the best years i can remember!

  • yup,you messed up big time, should have been born ten years earlier

  • @ALIDH88 i spent some of thebest memories of my young life during the 80's...oh what a life then...i wish i could turn back time....my teen age life

  • @ALIDH88 Yes, it was a different era, to be sure. :)

  • @ALIDH88 I wish the same, too. I was born in 1987 but I should of been born in either 1937, 1947, 1957, or 1967.

  • @ALIDH88 Dear ALIDH88, The 80's were so good it's almost unbelievable. It surpassed the hype. I wish you could've been there. I was 16 in 1985 so these songs are the soundtracks of my memories.

  • @endgammer So there4 U were born in 1969, correct?

  • @25phillycheesesteak Yes. And Im from NJ, right across the BF bridge.

  • @ALIDH88 I know what you mean, but honestly, I think it's better for you and me to love what the 80's gave to us, than to have lived through them and be missing them now. I've got my whole life ahead of me, and I've got all this great music and books and movies and history to learn from and help me on my way. :) So, thank God for letting us see the past today, and God bless America.

  • kewl the chorus reminds me of the song by whitesnake of the same name

  • excellent song.

  • Awesome Survivor song from the 80's! This song was one of their last big hits from late '86-early '87. Good stuff.

    it rocks. Ha

  • 1986...Yes sir...one of the best years of my life with this song and many others.

  • this place looks more like a nice colege campus than a town

    lol

  • personally my favorite survivor song is Jackie Dont Go but this is second or third with High on You

  • I agree that this is Survivor's best...far better than the overplayed "Eye Of The Tiger."

  • This is one of the best Survivor songs. I certainly love it, but I also love "High on You" about equally.

  • This is about my torrid relationship with Lynnie. Gosh how I love and miss this woman. How it hurts that I don't have my soul mate in my life. Words simply cannot express my ssorrow and sadness. Please come back to me sweetheart, you will never regret it. Love Always, Tommy from Brooklyn South to my Ave R. hottie. May the Good Lord keep you healthy and free from harm. te amo mi amor!!

  • so nice...

  • frikis

  • Nice town where is this??

  • Great Song...thanks for uploading. My only question is: what does a ford focus have to do with this song?

  • taurus

  • Thanks for uploading a great song. Survivor has many great hits. My favorites is "Caught on you" and "I can't hold back" Music today is now what it used to be. I like the pictures where you are traveling. I enjoy traveling myself.

  • this is a brilliant song - typically wonderfully 80's... how i wish i couldve lived through this wonderful era...

  • 80s kids rock amen

  • thank you lol. If being born in 84 counts.

  • Great song! The 80's had best bands and music.

  • I remember this song when I graduated from college and moved to PA to finish up more school. Nice memories of the very hot summer of 87.

  • Sarah - Yes...I never had a doubt...It's you...xo ... Candi Smiles

  • AWESOME!

  • Forget the annoying "Eye Of The Tiger" and the "Search Is Over." "Is This Love?" is Survivor's catchiest tune. Of course it was the one song that they did not play when I saw them on an '80s bill at the Westbury Music Fair (Long Island for those not familiar with it) a few years ago.

  • The long lost music of the 80's

  • Ya I know I'm 16 I love 80's music i'm trying to get into the hardcore 80's music that nobody remembers.

  • nice

  • This song kinda reminds me of the Miami Vice era... :)
