Tips (I'm a cosmetologist): You really shouldn't clip it in so close to the hair line because if the wind were to blow the hair out of your face or something then the clip-ins would be very obvious. Also when you put so many on top of each other like that it doesn't flow naturally, which again makes it obvious that you're wearing extensions. But seeing as how you had the coon tails in there anyway I guess "natural" wasn't exactly the goal here lol.

I'm a specialised extension trainer and this correct how? lol. Extensions are meant to move in through the hair and longate it. you have practically cliped up all ther underneath. so where is your hair thickness going to come from to fill out the extensions?. :) the back is awful and its apparent your wearng extensions. so there is no point wearing them. :)

Plus. buy a pair of GHD's.... then you will know what straight hair is. :)

I do tend to agree that your hair isn't short. I like how you found a different way to get around the teasing, found what works for you. My hair isn't past my shoulders so I can't do this method if I wanted to. I see the video is from 08 so it is a bit old. My not professional opinion is take extensions to a hair dresser and have them dye to match, they would use toners and such and your less likey to end up with the orangish color.

This technique is really only good if you're going for the "scene" look or the "emo" look or WHATEVER you want to call it because of the way you installed them you can't pull the hair up into a ponytail and they definitely aren't installed with versatility in mind. Otherwise, really nice video (:

to make your extensions look more natural well as natural as extensions can be you should put more than just one layer as in put more tracks across your whole head. also the ponytail method is interesting b/c iv'e never seen that before but it look like it can be problematic. it could be better if u just tease and apply hairspray to the roots of your hair the clips have something more sturdy to hold on too.
