You need to mention companions of shuckle: Vaporeon can pass aqua ring for recovery , umpreon can set up trick room and drifblim can add to its amazing defense w/ stockpile. All of theese pass a 100 hp sub, so if shuckle gets it it adds about another 50% to it's max hp(Easiest with drifblim, since it can sub get an unburdan boost.) If you pull this off power trick becomes viable since your behind a sub and the new sturdy. Throw in gyro ball, focus band or quick claw and it becomes an epic sweep.

Shuckle is a great defensive pokemon but as it has low HP, set HP attacking moves (such as Night Shade, Seismic Toss) can cripple it quite easily.

for my defensive team i have my shuckle first max out his defence with withdraw and yous power share then use power trick then use rollout do devestate the enemy team the only downside is that it takes all four moves please read and make opinion about this tactic :)

I already tried this and its awesome! I used this on someone's politoed and it hydro pumped and did almost nothing! only problem with mine is (except for 30 defense IV's) its gentle nature which lowers defense but it gains defense but its defense is still 502 and sorry I've been talking a lot :O

Mine is Relaxed Nature, and it's got good def and sp Def IV's, putting in some Audino, Palpitoad and Stunfisk EV's, and I've got a great Shuckle, caught on my first try.

rykard, i did the unthinkable with this

i put 252 evs in its atk and instead of power share i have the move that swaps its atack and defence

since i maxed its atk when i swap the stats he'll still have a decent defence to rely on while he has 400+ atk

his moveset: stone edge, toxic, the swap defence and atack move,and bug bite (to go with its ability gluttony)

his evs: 252 atk 126 def 126 spec def 4 hp

i have the powershare shuckle but with slight differences i run sassy nature for more power under gyro ball, stealth rock juss cuz he could tank anything and stonedge for more stab but i think toxic would be better like on your set. Also just to mention a steelix walls either sets like a complete beast

Teach the shackle health split or something split which does the same as power split but with health. This way when shackle has low health and the opponent has high health you then get a raised health but still equal to the opponent's.
