The punishment should fit the crime. A degree of context should be used. In that, I mean, if the case is clear-cut, and the man is the only one on the scene commiting murder...well, it's hard to deny that fact. If it was a crime commited out of passion or self-defence, then other factors would be worth to consider. Is it fair that a man clearly caught on video, alone, be let go for a crime based on his or her ethnicity? What do you think?
