  • Killing people sounds like a good idea and fun.

  • Kill one, others will pop up and killing killers is still killing,Further killing does not discourage killing and what right does the state or federal government have to carry out murder of another human being regardless of how misguided that person may be. Charlie Manson is a second hand murderer but he's also NUTS. Crimes of passion are no threat to the general public and cold blood murder are the actions of a deranged mind. Food for thought.

  • in my opinion crimes such as those done by the dnepropetrovsk-maniacs are worthy for capital punishment

  • use them for experiments or transplants

  • i say lethal injection all the way. i might try some!

  • i think that capital punishment is an escape from punishment when you kill someone they do not remain in this world yes there punishment is being in hell but they need punishment in this world if they sit in jail for a life sentance it gives them time to think

  • let him rot and think about what hes done, make him live with it

  • nice vid

  • george bush and all this politicians should get the death penalty...

  • revenge doesn't work. people can justify themselves indefiniately, therefore nobody ever really feels they took the first swing. capital punishment only (debatably) works as a deterent. what we really need to do with these people is rehabilitate them. even with stubborn ones, if we suspend their human rights, ANYONE can be rehabilitated.

  • I glad they Executed that "MFer" I was 14 when that shit was going on. We thought they were headed south to my city

  • i LOVED that movie V for Vendetta.

  • Death is just a release. And life in prision some people prefer to live in any condition. No the worst punishment would be an overwhelming ammount of guilt and having to relive the victim's pain and experience of the dead over and over. I once saw this on star trek.

  • some people should be put down because they are no better than rabid animals, but the problem is who is to say who is rabid and who aint?

  • so you say no death row? so the better option would be life in prision think about that life in prison thats your life for the rest of it day day out prision life. people go nuts when you put ther backs to the wall the whole punishment system needs to be restructured. as it stands now its a joke everyone is laghing. It isn't funny overpopulized with drug addicts pervs gangs violence. thats what you sen these nonviolent criminals.

  • Think about it now. What if instead of just mildly threatening felons with a cute lethal injection, we stepped it up a notch? Full on capital punishments. Beheadings, crucifixions, bonfires and catapulting people.

Yeah, sure, it's a little barbaric. But I can sure as hell guarantee the crime rate in this country would go down. Do you really think that people like John Allan Muhammad are going to have the incentive to kill if he knows that, when convicted, he'll be boiled alive? Hell no.

  • this guy deserved to die, after the things he did. and being atheist or christian has nothing to do with it.

  • "an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind"

    -Gandhi

im atheist, but i see all these violent comments about agreeing with the death penalty coming from christians..... i thought christians would side with their lord Jesus who forgave everyone.... its a shame to see the religious people become the most violent, hateful, intolerant and ignorant.... just a never ending sea of bigots..... i know that not all christains are like this, but the great majority is...............

  • Classic atheist, its not about an eye for an eye its about justice, would you prefer that murderers just sit and rot in prison during a life sentence or worse, get let out on parole! No, common sense says not to let that person back into the society and to bring justice, the liberalism in this world has left it weak and feebleminded thinking that murderers deserve to be let free just because they acted nice in prison.

  • I believe in an eye for an eye.

Let them live and suffer make them feel worthless and pathetic so they can kill themselves. Just killing them means that everyone is just as afraid as them. A problem can't be solve with the same attitude that created it.

  • killing a person for killing anoher does fuck all , its just humanity that is normally the cause for it all , so eg everyone :)

  • i believe that the crime should be way out weighed by the puninishment i dont believe in revenge i belive in justice but i believe it should be so horrifing that there could be no way the convict could find pleasure in it and it would make an example of the horror of wat awaits those who harm others

  • define justice

  • The states are in NO position to take a life. They themselves are murderers. Thou shall not kill, and they killed john muhammed. I donot condone his actions but giving him a life sentence would have been good enough justice serve.

  • I do believe in revenge this is true..But not in the justice system i believe that in the case of murder i think they should be given a life sentence. Because i believe that everyone has a conscience and living for life with that guilt of murder is a fitting punishment

  • the punishment should exceed in severity of a crime

  • if they did it,,,and they ask for know for gaveness and are not sorry,,, Then Hang Them High,,,,Then God will deal will Them AGAIN

  • Hang them bitches high!!!!LOL

  • leave it to sumtruth to always make thought provoking sense.

  • I really dont want to speak on, who should live, and who should die. If they've done something wrong.. throw them in jail. And if the jails are too full.... well ya gotta do whatcha gotta do

  • i dont believe in revenge...i believe in justice and all that is right in this world...im sorry to say but i think his exicution is fair due to what he did

  • I saw that on the news its the only way there is no punishment better for a killer but I would use a human as a test subject to find out how to cure Cancer and lots more it would be best

  • You are terrifying!

  • I really don't think it is a question of replacing a loved one. I think it is more a matter of making people feel safer knowing that the murderer of their loved one got his/her just desserts.

  • A eye for a eye leaves every one blind

i blieave the victums should deceied wether a person should die for the murder has tooken something the victums can never get back and in the end whatever the case true justice should be severed and will be in life and Death

  • sometimes the whole revenge thing wouldnt work. unless your talking about only murder there are some weird people out there. maybe a rapist would actually like to get done to him what he has done to others? then what do you do?

  • This another awesome video Sumtruth! If you had spoken to Mr. Muhammad, He might have rethought killing in cold blood, for no real reason...

  • no. no one should be put on death row unless they will never stop killing. life sentence at the worst. no one deserves death.

  • I Dont Believe In Revenge... I Believe In Stoping a Murderer.

  • i dont believe in the death penalty. i believe instead of spendiing millions of dollars over keeping hard criminals in jail or rather than making more bloodhsed, we should banish them to a remote island or soemthing and let them survive on their own. give them a second chance at light, a hard one maybe, but at least its no more bloodshed.

  • In all honesty, I the punishment should fit the crime.

If you kill someone, you should be killed back.

Like, if one of my friends were killed, I would see to it that the person who murdered them dies.

  • "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."

    -Gandhi

  • @TheMarvelousHat

    Amazing quote

  • I believe that we should give them a mental test. To see if their capable of being in modern day life. If their too far under the requirements. And the crime was beyond reasoning, like a killing spree or mass terrorism. But life in prison is hard guys. Sometimes, death is a much more wanted choice then life in some prisons

  • HANG 'EM HIGH, yes.

  • 100% of executed criminals never commit crimes ever again

  • The bottom line is there are people out there who have NO respect for human life. As a father I wish our judicial system were less soft. I vote to throw them in the shark filled Pacific Ocean so it won't take up tax payer dollars to execute them.

  • At least he got the injection though.

  • Life Imprisonment without parole should suffice. Why take it to the extreme ? It's just seems senseless and barbaric. Most people seek retribution not justice. That's just may opinion.

  • I see your point of view. And I respect sumtruth for his wisdom. However, as HATERAZZI said, some people have no regard for human life. You hear of these criminals in Canada who commit crimes like rape or murder. They destroy the life of not just one person, but there families' as well. And what's their sentence? life without parole...rarely. And when they are released, which unfortunately they usually are, they commit the same crimes. People like this will never see the harm they are doing.

  • The death penalty helps to either strike fear into the hearts of sick, twisted people like this so they will never commit these vile acts. And those who commit the crime anyways will get only what they deserve. Because you see, if the fear of death will not stop someone from committing a crime, what will? nothing. It's a sad fact that some people won't listen to anyone or anything but fear. And those who don't ear death are the most dangerous.

  • Barbaric? not really. We find the most humane and painless way to kill them. And senseless. You see hear about people who would rape and murder someone, and this is senseless? life in prison will not do them justice for the lives they've destroyed.

  • Well the system should be beyond that. Just because people act like savages doesn't mean we should desensitize our selves as well. I wonder why they are so many heinous crimes in other countries even with Capital Punishment. They commit the crimes anyway. It's obvious that fear doesn't sway their motives.

  • Did you not read what I posted about the people who are not afraid of death. They are the most heinous, the most vile, and the most dangerous of criminals, the ones that don't fear death to do what they do. And they are people you want kept in this world. If anything is turning the world barbaric it's these people themselves. I see both sides of the argument, the side for punishment and the side for mercy.

  • No, know what, you're right. I'm a passive person usually, and I see what you're saying. I too believe everyone deserves a chance at life. But when one person is willing to destroy that life or take it, whatever the cost, it sometimes angers me what the world is turning into.

  • I feel the same at times, saddened and angry but If am to react then I've lost my humanity. It's like gang violence, kill a love one and another killing occurs out of retribution.

  • On the contrary, reacting is what makes you human. We as humans can be the most passive people. But reacting is our initial instinct. You want these monsters to pay for what they've done, so you pulling for the death penalty. We as humans are not perfect, far from it actually. But if we did not react to something like this, we wouldn't be human. Because to not react is to not feel. You're not going to go out and kill the person. But you feel the world would be better without them.

  • True, we make mistakes but if we make them knowingly then they're not mistakes. To not react is to have self-control, that will not stop us from feeling. Reacting without control and thought is what animals do, What makes us human is our ability to have critical thought, which is what people are told not to do.

  • I call a spade, a spade. We're told that certain things are acceptable but what is the real message ? Socrates questioned Cephalus about the principle of justice. To say that its okay and considered justice when THEY kill someone makes no sense. A lie manufactured to make you feel that it is morally acceptable and honorable; to silence the conscience that makes you think otherwise. As long as it rest with your conscience you have unconsciously made it acceptable.I can only speak for myself

  • Crimes do have varying degrees of severity. Is the death penalty right ? Who knows but what I do know is we as society can not allow THE INDIVIDUAL CRIME such as this one Had to be stopped and dealt with. I am good with his death. He got out of life what he put into it.

  • i think we shouldn't execute them for it is not in our judgment it is gods judgment because weather we think there guilty or not god knows the truth and will punish them appropriately if they are guilty

  • i believe in punishment worse than the crime. not to terribly bad but a it worse. makes em not wanna do it again. i believe in killing murderers and i dont htink we get to it fast enough.i beliee if they killed a looooooot of people they should beb killed in the same way his most brutal killing was.

  • I think that whoever decides not to live up to societies standards should be removed from society because its for the best of the system not revenge. On how you remove this person I don't care...

  • You Americans can be glad that you are punishing so hard. Our Czech Republic president denied 10 years ago executions. Because of that, a number of pedofiles, serial murderers, intrigues, and law cheaters have incriesed in triple. More criminals from other states are migrating to us,because of our soft law. You sumtruth, should thank to god taht your country punshes so hard....

  • to meh if someone kills someone the killer should die the same way if he gets stabbed 4000 times so be it

  • murder is murder its all the same he deserves to spend his life in prison not get away and escape to the afterlife, whether it be a good one or bad he should be put away for the rest of his life

  • I don't think that we should execut him. we are not better than him ofcours I'm not refering to that we also kill people. we thing of killing people we hate and he does to. the only problem is that he doesn't only think about it. but if he coment's such a crime himself shouldn he get another chance to make up his mistakes or should he just die. if it was up to me I'l say "give him another chance"

  • If someone feels the need to unremorsefully kill a person or multiple people- and especially if that person threatens or promises to commit that same crime repeatedly- then, yes, I do think the death penalty should be used. I do not feel that individual should sit on death row for countless years, but should rather be disposed of quickly and removed from society. They offer no benefit, and therefore should have no reward. And eye for an eye? To a certain extent, yes.

  • I believe that I am not influential in society that implement the death sentence. Therefore my opinion is of no importance.

  • Idiots, he will never kill again will he? No doubt about it now. An added and important benefit is that he will not be spreading the sickness of islam from his prison cell to other losers he is incarcerated with.

  • I believe murderers should get the life sentence but I also think child molesters and pedophiles should get the death punishment.

  • I am not christian, however I will use satistics in this little saying..70% of all americans claim to be god-loving christians..so on that note from that 50% will serve on the jury, of that 15% of christians will say a man is guilty of murder and the punishment will be death row, from that looking at the ten comandments is it safe to assume 15% percent of christians are willing to accept their place in the firey depths of hell? Thow Shall Not Kill, no ifs, ands, or buts about it..

  • The state has no business deciding who lives and who dies. What about the people who were convicted of a crime they did not commit and are on death row now? All of us can potentially be the victim of death row.Besides death row is the easy way out!

  • how dose killing the the iller make us any better then them?

  • Eveyone has thier right to getting an eye for an eye, but nothing more....however you dont need to do this

  • It's all an explanation of the true purpose of "THE HOLY BIBLE"! OBEY MAN OR FEEL THE WRATH OF MAN!!

  • Comment removed

  • Do the crime, you do the time.

  • It doesn't so much matter how the person feels about getting the death penalty, rather to set an example.

  • stfu

  • I do not see capital punishment as "revenge." I see it as having to put down an extremely dangerous animal. They had their chance to be humans, they chose to be monsters. 6 billion people in this world-we can live without 1 insane sniper.

  • What danger DVONvX? he is in a super max prison. What are the chances he will get out.You have the same potential to be as evil as this "animal".If you grew up in the environment some of these people grew up in you would probably turn out worse

  • @DVONvX put who are we to decide who does or doesint deserve to die if we kill a monster we become a monster

  • There is absolutely no way that killing somebody for killing someone is an acceptable punishment. It is absolutely contradictory, and although someone may infringe upon the liberty of others, who are we as a society to commit such a heinous deed and infringe on the liberty of the perpitrator?

Capital punishment is an old and outdated act of false justice. The death of another will not bring back your loved one.

  • YES! why do we make it so expensive and complex? if you are a disgusting pedophile you don't deserve to DIE!

I'm so sick of these bleeding hear liberals protecting MURDERS RAPIST AND PEDOPHILES!

  • i would chain him up to a chair so u cannot move at all his arms legs head everything strapped

and he is 2 sit in that room EVERY SINGLE DAY for the rest of his life... just sitting in a dark room... he gets fed the same thing once every 2 days and he sits while he slowly dies inside of BOREDOM MUAHAHAHAHA

  • if somebody is locked up then 97% of inmates want to die so killing them by lethal injection is helping them not go through the torture or mental abuse youre just helping him not hurting him death is what most inmates want.

  • "death is what most inmates want."

    Bull shit.

  • YES! Hang em really high! These people tha commit theses crimes showed no remorse, no pity when they killed the (as in the case of Muhammad) 10 unsuspecting people he killed. And HE ruined the life of a teenaged boy.

Some states have even adopted the death penalty for child rapists. That's justice in my book. But I'm just one man.

  • Why sink to their level?

  • I don't think it's necessarily sinking to their level. For someone like this guy, the murders were planned with full knowledge of the consequences. People were terrorized in their own town, held hostage, frightened to even leave their homes. It's not sinking to his level, it's ridding the world of a pest, the same as we would hire an exterminator to rid our homes of roaches, etc.

  • Well, with pests, it's a different story. Their only crimes are existing and needing to eat. Furthermore, thinking of any person as a pest, regardless of their crimes, sounds rather heartless to me. A planned murder is a planned murder; should the planners of the execution also be put to death.

  • It is somewhat heartless, I know. Then again, my views are usually not parallel to popular opinion. You bring up a very interesting point, but you must understand I do not view someone who willingly takes the rights of others away selfishly as truly human. To be human, one must have emotions and a conscience. People like the DC sniper have neither, and are therefore considered by me to be less than human- a pest.

  • And, no, I do not feel the executioner should be put to death. He is providing a service- granted, one that may not be acceptable to most people- but a service nonetheless.

  • huh well perhaps it depends on the reason and motives behind it..However I think any murderer should be kept in for life

  • The punishment should fit the crime. A degree of context should be used. In that, I mean, if the case is clear-cut, and the man is the only one on the scene commiting murder...well, it's hard to deny that fact. If it was a crime commited out of passion or self-defence, then other factors would be worth to consider. Is it fair that a man clearly caught on video, alone, be let go for a crime based on his or her ethnicity? What do you think?
