That means they take a knife and make an incision at and angle near the gills and keep slicing till they hit bone. And any fishermen commenting on this negatively are full of shit. They have to "clean" the fish they catch to eat it. That means they take a knife and make an incision at and angle near the gills and keep slicing till they hit bone. Then they turn the knife toward the tail and then keep cutting till the fillet is removed. Then repeat on the otherside. It's common for fish to keep twitching after they've been cleaned. I've been doing it since I've been 7 years old. What's worse?

"But goldfish aren't exposed to piranhas in nature." Fish are exposed to piranha in nature. The goldfish is a fish. It got eaten. Nature happened. "It had no chance of escaping." Well.. we need to feed the piranhas. Whatever goldfish didn't get picked at the store is the one that will simulate "getting away" for us

This happens in nature? The goldfish is not a south american goldfish, so therefore would not naturally occur within the pirahna's native environment. The whole video is contrived to cause this sort of debate anyway, so I'll be honest I have no idea why I am posting.

Feeding fish Live animals- " fish eat other animals in the wild so there is nothing wrong with it" People who feed their fish live animals in a cruel way often use this argument. A fish tank aint the wild, we control what they eat. As long as the feeder animal is gobbled up in one bite and doesn't suffer i believe live feeding is ok. Mammals are not good for fish..fish bodies are too cold to process animal fats, so it just stays in their system and clogs stuff up. the odd time is grand..

looked it up, they are supposed to eat live food but you can TRY to get them to eat flakes and stuff :/ They eat it naturally and besides, the owner of the fish didn't MAKE the fish eat the golffish they did it them selves. Blam the fish if you want someone to blame :/
