  • Put them on a proper Les Paul i.e. a "Gibson" they sound a lot better.

  • Dude those are P90's. Those pickups are awesome.

  • Nice guitar, ugly pickups..

  • It's obvious that you play one of the teletubbies.

  • that's a nice tune, haha.

is this the same LP you put the noiseless seymours on?

  • @gullywoots Yes this is the same guitar. And I did this video before the pickup change.

  • hey man this may be a stupid question, but is the finish of this lp shiny, like does it reflect, because im really hoping for a solid coler

  • This is just cool. It is the music from where Jesso the dog chases a beach ball on the French coastline during a Tubby video segment. Really nice job rocking this out.

  • @saabviggen93 That's so cool you remember the actual segment that music came from. AWESOME! You win! It's actually a flute I think... with a really nice subtle reverb/delay on it. It sounds much better than when I play it on guitar....... but oh well.

My kids are teenagers now...... but it still brings back memories. : )

  • He IS one of the Teletubbies. He heard it at rehearsal.

  • lmao

  • i was headbanging the whole song! =D

  • Just one question...why the hell is a man your age watching teletubbies??? WTF

  • @GibsonGuy643 I used to watch Teletubbies with my kids when they were little.

  • I was about to ask the same question...

whatevs! songs has catchy little ring though!

  • WTF everybody knows teletubbies rock da house :-)

  • very nice, i like the sound of your setup too!

  • how do you think this guitar would sound playing rock and some metal. not that drop d and c stuff more like ...iron maiden, metalica, acdc , stuff like that?

  • I'd like to know something. I'm deciding between the Epiphone Les Paul Goldtop, with P90s, or a Epiphone Les Paul Silverburst with humbuckers.

Do they stock P90s in the goldtop sound good for classic rock?

  • dude thats so weird i was debateing between those same 2 guitars!

  • P90 pickups are always standard on almost any Gibson or Epiphone Guitar that was made before 1958.

  • Sounds like something I learned in college.

  • can i ask why u were watching teletubbies?

  • hey man i need help

shud i keep the P90s or switch to Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pros

    Thanks!

  • do u already got the guitar? do u advice this guitar? i play in a stage for like.. 200 plp.. would u advice this guitar?

i dont have money to buy a gibson..

and im deff putting alnico II PRo if i get one!

  • yah i got it wednesday and took it to my music store to change the pickups so i should get it by friday

    the pickups look good

  • Mike-The P-90 pickups are awesome! Beautiful clean tones that are really clear and chimy. However, with any kind of distortion, they are really buzzy.

Unless you have some type of footpedal with a 'noise-gate' feature in it. Duncans are usually good Pup's,but you may want to get the

Duncan P-90 Stacked Pick-ups. You get that awesome P-90 sound but with NO buzz. Hope that helps...:-)

  • why were you watching teletubbies????? o_o

  • hey people u know that white thing undr neath iv seen gold top without out it and in my opinion it loks nicer without so can u take it off ??

  • the pickguard?

  • i think you mean the pickguard and definantly

  • Nice playing man!

  • Is this guitar good for metal becuase it sounds like it has a bit of a jazzy and warm tone

  • its good for rock and blues ..if u want metal buy an ESP or a Jackson ...

  • thats real cool

    nice guitar

  • ahhhhhh teletubbys...GOOD TMES GOOD TIMES...

  • whats the difference between one of those and an epiphone LP standard +top

  • the gold top has p90 pickups and a non opaque finish. the lp standard plus top has humbuckers and a flamed maple top

  • How well does that stay in tune? I hear that most epiphone les pauls go out of tune like everyday. i want one though, kickass playing btw.

  • ive had my epi for a year or so and it takes a loooooong time for mine to go out of tune b/c its got grovers. Great machineheads

  • Haha, I'm pretty sure from 1:00 on isn't Teletubies. =]

    Great playing, bro!

  • haha youre great xD

  • hahha thats so cute!!!! but still u gotta be skillful 2 play that!! sounds hard to play!

    5 stars

  • u must have like 20 epi's!!!

  • i have no idea if it was correct or not since i don't watch the show but it sure sounded good.

  • I have a guitar just like this, but with humbuckers

  • You are the next Todd Weeks!

  • why were you watching teletubbies?

  • It was years ago when my kids were little.

  • Don't be ashame of watching such a great serie in your spare time =D

    greets, Myron

  • hahahaha:D funny dude :D

  • y were u watching tellytubbies? lol! Nice playing dude

  • im getting mine for $277

  • teletubbies are the shit!! good

  • buddy. goldtops are only like $499. and since when did you watch the teletubbies

  • do you think you could play "jessica by the allman brothers band?

  • needs humbukers

  • Part of the reason for buying this beauty is for the P-90s.

  • That would be humbuckers. If you have comment, let your spelling be correct at least !!

  • that would be p 90s. if you have a comment, let your pickups be correct at least! (two !!'s are not correct)

  • I was just referring to the guy that has a comment and doesn't know how to spell. Of course i know that the pu's ont this guitar are soapbar P90's.

  • oh ok my mistake sorry

  • nice guitar. i like them and am thinking of getting one but do you get much feedback when on high gain like on a strat with it having single coils?

  • Yes. If you you use high gain you'll get lots of hum and feedback. That's why I replaced the stock P90s in mine with some Seymour Duncan STK-P1 P90s. They're humbuckers but look like regular P90s. I have a video up here of this guitar with those in.. if you're interested, check it out. : )

  • I need help... should i get a $400 Epiphone Les Paul Goldtop like this guy, or a $800 dollar Gibson Les Paul Vintage Mahogany for my B-Day?

  • get the gold top, then you spend the rest on getting a decent amp

  • good plan

  • where do u get a 400$ epiphone goldtop

  • guitarcenter duh

  • zzounds is slightly cheaper, and for me i want to get a good guitar like this that is cheap but will last me. every penny counts. and get the goldtop, it sounds just, like the gibson model and looks better than that vintage

  • Market price is like $860... At Guitar Center it's like $600... I got one on sale for $330!!

  • the 56' goldtops are much more expensive than $400

    market price they're like $860

at Guitar Center u can get 'em fo like $650

*I got on on sale (at GC) for $330!!

  • Please eveybody tell me whether epiphone Les Pauls compare to the Gibsons at all! I have the new USA fender Strat and I want a humbucked guitar , PRS or epi les paul!

  • u could just change ur strats pickups into semour duncan single coil humbuckers

  • have you ever played the elitist 57' goldtop and if you have what do you think of it

  • u watch Teletubbies?

  • I have kids. And when they were little I watched Teletubbies with them. That's when I learned this tune.

  • oh, i get it. but i think its a pretty funny kids show, real bizarre!

  • Too Right!

  • Too Right!

  • You. Are. God.

  • I think I might like the sound of this guitar better than the trans black..

  • suena loco... una les paul sale u$s3000 y esta sale u$s800, no?

  • LOVELY YOU ROCK MAN, nice guitar and how old are you or should say how long have u been playing for?

Just a bit worried why you still are watching Telletubbies lol! nah ur cool (Y)

  • You have a lot of Epi's in your collection I notice. Do you collect any others ? What do like about the Epi's.

  • That's great! I have a few real Gibson Les Pauls myself, but you always sound great with the Epiphones. It's all about the fingers anyway...

I like your music a lot and it always makes me happy when I listen to it. Really sweet bluesy sound!

  • dude you're stuck in the idea that you get what you pay for and that's not always true I would rather have 4 cheaper epiphones that way I have 4 different sound styles then just have one gibson that cost a hell of alot more and is less versatile AND dcooper has a gibson he just hasn't made a video of just demonstrating it yet.

  • you do know that most epi sound about the same as a real gibson les pual...

  • awesome playing man, you should be the epiphone spokesman, you have the whole line up right?

  • awesome playing keep it up

  • you watch teletubbies lol

  • how many epiphone les pauls do u have?

  • what wer u doin watching teletubbys...? lol, nice playing but

  • wow, its so amazing how you can make teletubbies rock.

  • the goldtop is gibosn the epi gold top its not better than a les p aul cusstom of samick

  • how many guitars do you have?

  • wait...how many epiphones do you have...btw, love the sound

  • what would you say about an epiphone limited edition standard plus from musicians friend. i might even change the humbuckers to emgs

  • Can u change the p90 pick ups with the Alnico Pro II humbuckers?

Will the result be equal to changing the regular Epiphone Les Paul Standard humbuckers with the Alnico Pro II???

  • I'm getting either a Les Paul Standard or Studio. Which one would you recommend. The Standard is more money, but also I think sounds a lot better when you get the proper humbuckers.

  • Personally I like the Standard better. But I have a Studio also and it kicks ass with Burstbucker PROs in it. : )

  • Seriously- which one is your favorite? I figure you're the Epiphone master since you have six of them and I'm getting a new guitar... so.... which one?

  • I don't have a favorite. I like 'em all the same. I'm EXTREMELY happy with all of 'em. : )

  • commonnnn you gotta help out a fellow musician. well hey I can get a goldtop used for $200... if the guy emails me back... agh.

  • those are p-90 pickups? what are they like compared to the humbuckers on standards?

  • Very nice! See people your head doesn't have to say "Gibson" just to sound good.

  • how u like that guitar? i'm thinkin of gettin one. how does that compare with ltds do you think?

  • Teletubbies on a goldtop....

    Ive seen it all now!

  • i love teletubbies lol good playin love the gold top thinkin of gettin one my self

  • teletubbies...lol.

i love your playing man, so clean and fun. keep it up bro.

  • Cool! I love the soapbar pickups, they have a sound of their own...very vintagey.

  • Cool playing! :)

  • is that guitar standard or have u fitted new pickups to it to make it sound so sweet

  • Those are the stock pickups in that video.

  • Very nice Coop! Of your six Epiphone LP's, do have a favourite?

  • at the end of that did i just heer a baby cry??

  • Yeah.... that was one of my daughters yelling "Daaaaaad!!!"

  • Hahaha. I'm favoriting this.

  • toot toot tolululooot :D nice one
