I had choir (not by Catholic association) for several years. I remember when you could not tell if a male/female was singing. The falsetto could over-power female voices because of the quality of the male voice. These gents performed splendidly, however the soloist at the end, perhaps abit nervous, to breathe he lifts his shoulders rather than extending his diaphragm & then *presses down* to get the note out when he should retract his diaphragm for more controlled breathing. Overall, angelic!

Libera is actually part of a normal large church choir that includes lower voices and adults during regular service and even on some albums. the older boys who 'graduated' the touring group of younger boys in Libera often stay and mentor younger kids. in fact, the director and producer are both former members of this choir!
