In all realty Italy wanted an Inland buffer in order to attack the Greeks. Which if we were smart, we would should have just offered that and left the Italians and Germans wipe out the Greeks. In the end we got fucked by loosing Cameria, but that seems to be a occrance that keeps happening to our mother land.
They were a big economic help to us at the time, espically when many people were able to move to Italy and reap its advantages as a high Power.Compared to other countries that were invaded at the time. I think the Italians didnt really coommit any harsh extremities; such as were committed by Germans to the Jews, Serbians to the Bosnianns and Croatians, and Turks vs Greeks.
I mean we would have stood no chance against Italy and Germany. While doing so we saved a lot of people, money and our beloved land was not war torn like Poland,France etc.... A lot of our ancient Artifact would have been destroyed. Also, we received alot of financial help and miltary guidance/protection/equipment from the Italians.
I mean I am dissapointed witht he fact that they just gave the country over like that; espically in away that was very "pussy-ish" when Zogu just left the country. But in retrospect the committee saved a lot of lives by just cooperating with the Italians.
