I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! I have very pale, warm-toned skin and asymmetrical lips so most lipsticks look too harsh on me. Black Honey is dark and rich without being clown-y, and I LOVE how it layers with lipstains!! So far my fave combos are Black Honey over Benetint or Black Honey over Revlon's Just Bitten in Flame.

Now I'm intrigued with Black Honey. Clinique made a beautiful, soft, elegant lipstick shade many years ago called Rose Glaze, which was my favorite at the time and is nothing whatsoever like Black Honey, but this new shade seems to be IT. I also like their Pink Chocolate lipstick. I still have some of Estee Lauder's "Princess Grace Coral" from a number of years ago. My point in mentioning these other shades is that that I'm more familiar with the softer colors but Black Honey requires a 2nd look

@GuinevereJuliet The Black Honey is amazing!! My daughter is lighter and almost blond and it looks wonderful on her too! They also came out with a blush with the same name but I have not looked into it. I have never seen Pink Chocolate lip stick. I will have to give it a look ! Thanks so much for watching! Oh, I LOVE Black Honey! I love how it's a real on-for-all lippy, not just with skin colour, but also with what it goes with. I love how it's subtle, yet noticeable. I've been using this lippy since I must have been fourteen and JUST getting into makeup.

I don't know if this is true, but I've been told that this product was also used for Liv Tyler in Lord of the Rings.

Haven't tried it. I love Clinique blushes and eyeshadows but haven't tried their lipsticks. Great review.

Great review. The colour really looks dark . I bought the colour sensation lipstick again and you are right the taste is diferent from the one i bought 2 years ago. I don't know if my one was not good or if they changed the taste.

@Beautyshades It is so strange! The color is dark but it looks so nice on every skin tone. You might want to go to a counter or to Sephora and test it.. Glad you found the Colour Sensational lip stick better the second time around! What color did you get it in?

This is one of my favs. I must admit that I was a little scared when the clinique lady showed it 2me but after I tried it I was hooked. I also like their lipstick in bamboo pink. Great review :)
