guys if you have the game on pc you already have the soundtrack. just go to where you have Oblivion installed, normally its in My Documents/program files. here's the folder layout. Documents/Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion/Data/Music/­Explore All of the music files are in mp3 format so you can throw them in itunes or windows media player and listen all you want =)

You can get the oblivion soundtrack from the pc version in the game files in a folder called music or something like that. This is my faviroute track.

We are talking about music... and what Oblivion is missing is combat music, its as slow and sleepy (but still beauty) as exploring... maybe Skyrim will change it, but Bethesda is probably to lazy for that, as in Fallout 3 we had a little bit mixed Oblivion music...

@Aptorianin To be honest, I expect skyrim to have some epic battle music, because it'd fit the game's theme alot better. Oblivion was meant to be quiet and peaceful; Skyrim is jagged and rough.

the music for the game Oblivion, which this is sampled from, is composed by a fantastic artist "Jeremy Soule" he also famously composed the music for the game Guild Wars, if you listen to the music from both games you will notice similarities in the sound. Nonetheless, a brilliant musical genius in my opinion...
