  • Nice tone and feel :) What amps / effects are you using?

  • @Ghostman1229 While I used my GK head and Mesa Boogie cabs to hear myself on-stage, the sound you're hearing on this track is my guitar recorded direct via my trusty Boss GT-8 from which I employ some delay and reverb.

  • they are just vamping on the first two chords with a slightly change on the begining! cool!

  • Like! Way nice!!

  • Damn, that's a nice version!

  • so nice ! ですね.

  • is this nardis or something else ?

  • I like this version: it is a bit hypnotic. It reminds me the sound of Pat Metheny but I am not an expert. Nice indeed!

  • Nice sound..but the song sounds like "On Green Dolphin Street"

  • Great cover of a great song!

  • Sooooo good! Sounds to me like Rob Michael is quite the Metheny fan too!

  • Wonderful performance. You guys get a solid groove going that really drives the tune. I love how you bring it back to the melody too. Very smooth.

    Nice work guys.

  • wow, i love the chord melody on the guitar, amazing

  • man nice sound.

  • Thanks for checking it out. :-)

  • Yeah - beautiful. So quiet too...

  • Just beautiful music Rob, congrats! This is one of my all time fav's.

  • This is beautiful: the best thing I've heard in ages. Great job! @philwbass

  • Killer tone, great playing. Love it! More videos, please!

  • what kind of pedal he use(the guitarplayer)?

  • It's a Boss GT-8 direct to the board.

  • i bet you've heard the duet version of this track on harvey swartz's album "in a different light" featuring john scofield's brilliant guitar take on it! that version first turned me on to this tune.

  • I have heard that album and that IS a great version of Nardis.

    Rob

  • what kind of an amp are you using ?

    great rendition !

  • Though it's not heard on this video, 'm using a (not very good-sounding) GK solid-state head thru 2 1x12 cabs with EV's. I use the GK amp because it's light, loud and it's VERY durable.

  • Rob -

Thanks so much for the kind words. Your guitar work is inspired. Great touch, tone, etc. - the whole package!

  • Very nice, beautifully played.

  • really great.

  • Oh My.. this is what I have been waiting to Hear!!thanks!

  • I really the velvety echoish sound of his guitar.

Somebody have a clue how he achieves it ?

  • ... a little reverb and delay via a Boss Gt-8 gets the job done.

    Thanks for listening.

  • Does these digital effects satisfy you? What will you prefer, digital or analog, if you had THE money? Thx!
