Im a very proud Marine Corp Mom and thank God every day that my son made it home safely after his tour in Iraq. I also grieve with/for the family of one platoon member that did not get off that bus with everyone else upon their return. He came home months earlier after being killed by a sniper's bullet.

Please take a moment to thank our service men and women when you see them in airports, restaurants, etc. It doesn't cost you anything but those moments mean the world to them.

As a Viet Nam Vet from a family that also fought in Revolutionary War to gain our freedom from England. Whose family has fought and some times lost family in every war this country has participated in since, including todays. I feel that too many, Including our present administration and government officials have forgotten the sacrifices too many have paid. Today Memorial Day is a 3 day holiday weekend, instead of a day to Honor our fallen Military MEN and WOMEN. ALL GAVE SOME, SOME GAVE ALL

Ron and Kay -- you are often in my thoughts. Thanks so much for this tribute. My brother, a P-51 pilot in WWII, came home in a casket. My ancestors, beginning in the 1700s, have fought for freedom in this country. Thank God for all men and women who have been and are willing to serve this nation at home and abroad. And I give thanks to you for helping us remember!

I like this video. My father served 23 years in WWII, Korea, and in the states during Nam. Thanks to those who have paid the ultimate price for liberty. As a naturalized citizen, perhaps freedom means a lot more to me. Thank You, Lord for men and women who have secured that which You gave.
