Define "finish." The two trilogies chronicle the character of Anakin. It's over. He can't make another movie right after E6 because of the New Jedi Order Novels and none of those compare to his own deep stories. I say he go backwards and adapt the story of Exar Kun (the true inventor of the double-bladed lightsaber) to the big screen. But, oh yeah - this vid kicks ass lol

I dont think the guy with the red saber was evil, (their were jedi with red sabers, they just prefered not to associate them selves with colors the sith used) because the ballou letter was written by a union soldier, and essentially the union was the jedi order and the confeds were the sith

Very moving...dialog at beginning sets it up and i love the picture laying in the grass at the end. Very few holywood films can achieve that raw emotion. And this one does it within five mintues. Great music too, makes us overlook the minor issues i would have with it, like sticking a light saber in the ground. Stunning choriography!

There's just a couple of things wrong with the movie. First you can't really let go of the lightsaber without deactivating it. Second, you can't stick it into the ground.

if you really wanna be detailed a saber throw they are "holding" the saber with the force. Thats why it comes back to you like a boomerang.

well, even if you don't care for star wars, I think you can still appreciate this short film. I find it simply magnificent that you chose to use the Ballou letter, giving it at least some substance for a story. I'd love to see a developed story for this film. (and possibly a tad better costumes ;)

Not only are special effects and action great but most importantly...

You are great writers, directors and producers. The music fits the mood of the story perfectly which in any film is crucial.

I am giving it 4 stars. The reason being that, judging from the movies and books I've read, only the Sith use red sabres. Apart from that, it is extremely good and I hope for more. I would give it 5 if were not for that discrepancy.

Actually, the red lightsaber = dark jedi thing was mainly a convenient device used to make it clear who the bad guy is. There is nothing in any book or movie that states a good jedi can not use a red lightsaber. In fact, my second favorite lightsaber combo is duel wielding a purple lightsaber and a red lightsaber.
