  • cool i wish someone would lay new track and stuff.........so i could run the TRAINS!!!!!

  • for the record I listen to industrial Rock, Metal, Techno, and old school hip hop and detest country music. but as an ametuer historian whos family came off the boat to work the rails, I apreciate this. Never forget :Chigago Nortwestern, Elgin Joliet and Eastern, Chicago Aurora and Elgin, Much love to my railroading forefathers and their wives.

  • I wish you could label all of these pictures of where they were taken but its a nice video

  • There is a lot of old abandoned Rock Island rail line still here in Oklahoma

  • Good video, good music! A sad reflection on America.

  • I have five abandoned railroads in my town! two still have tracks

  • Cool video man! Nice job!

  • Excellent collection and really put together very well !!! Thanks for sharing this...

  • T_T i mes the at&sf or the santa fe i also mes all the railroads that the up destord

  • America will one day sooner than the rich oil execs think pay for the abandment of railroads and their passenger service.

  • Cool! I volunteer for a tourist railroad and our line looks abandond. It looked like alot of those lines were tourist railroads that sadily failed.

  • tourist Railroads have to have 3 things to become sucessful in my opinion

    1. a destination

    2. Steady ridership

    3. Reliable Equipment

    wat tourist railroad?

  • @TrainGuy18 I volunteer for is the Toledo Lake Erie and Western railroad. We have been around for 40 years and about 13 or 14 years ago we had a culvert washout and havenot replaced it yet. We cant access the last mile of our tracks. this is the part that looks abandond.

  • oh bumer to here bout the vandals. is the S6 the only loco you guys have?

  • @TrainGuy18 No we have a whitcome 44 tonner (that does run but is on the wrong side of the culvert) Along with a steam engin (that needs restored) and 2 S2's

  • how bad is the washed-out culvert?

  • darn right!!!! but passenger trains are makeing a comeback!!!

  • @TrainGuy18 Really?

  • @TrainGuy18 I hope so!
