ZX6R vs ZX10R Drag Race

@iFischer08 u wouldnt want to wheelie in every gear obviously. however it was a pure example why you would change your sprockets to reflect more low end power. getting to 120 quicker. IF your gonna drag your bike your not going to go over 130 or so I'm sure. so changing sprockets is almost like adding Hp.

A lower HP bike can beat a higher HP bike if he changes sprockets. just a suggestion. not sure why people get so pissy. its just a comment. get a life N move on.

I just came back from the track on my 03 zx6r and my best run was a 12.2 at 118... Never been to a drag strip before and had an extremely old bad tire...( they dont make them anymore)... so I will put a fresh one on next time and see if i cant hit mid 11's cause all i did was slide through 1st and 2nd every run lol

To the haters out there, yeah these times are in fact bad... I don't know what year model they are running, but my 05 10 hits 104 in first gear bone stock... The first run has the zx10 top speed right at 104 haha and you hear him shift into third gear... shit times no point in even debating really

the zx 6 and 10 were close in time wise because the 6 is lighter. the zx10 not only beat it but the last run was 121 mph.

top speed in a bike is useles unless u can use it. better off taking the sprockets and changing them for low end.

you will be able to power wheelie in every gear and still go about 130 mph. vs 165 - 180.

This was the first time the two riders had ever done a drag race & another factor was the fact that it was very windy. They'll be doing it again soon, with much better times.
