How to play Ace Combat X on PSP: Select Air or Ground missiles (depending on target), hold down RB, fire and forget, circle around and repeat from firing stage :)..with a few exceptions

@Maiden4Maiden Yes, I was really using a PSP but the lag was due to the crappy performance of the laptop I used to record it and mainly because the video streaming/capture was made from a usb 1.1 port and not a high-speed usb 2.0. That's why the video is choppy. The game in the PSP ran smoothly. :)

The only bad thing about this game is that campaign mode is way too short. I can finish it in about 50 minutes in normal difficulty. Hard and Ace take a little more, of course.

But anyway it's an awesome game. Can't wait to Joint Assault to be released.

I got this game from my parents when I was in hospital, it's FUCKING AWESOME!

I've tried looking for an aircraft guide, one that'll recommend you which ones to buy, but I can only find an unfinished guide. Can anyone link me an aircract guide? Or just tell me which of these four are the best:

Wow, now this is random! Asking for L2 stuff on my Ace Combat video. Well, you get Fenrir by getting a wolf, leleling it up to 55 into Great Wolf and then at lvl 72 I think you'll make it into a Fenrir, dunno... my Great Wolf is only 60... Or you could buy a Fenrir if you got the adena! ^^ It takes a looooong while to make a wolf a Fenrir!

alright i will giv u credit for your first time; but when they have a lock on u pull a high G-turn or do a split S, 2 manuevers that will save your life. Wht did u use to record this?

Thanks for the tips! ;) To record this I used:

1) CFW (custom firmware, you can't record like this if you don't have CFW. OK maybe if you have a PSP 2000 or 3000 you can hook it up to the TV and record from there, but I have a PSP 1000 (phat))

2) RemoteJoyLITE to stream video from PSP to PC.

3) Jack-Jack cable for audio.

4) Camtasia Studio to record both audio and video.

5) Media Coder Full Edition to convert to MPEG-4 AVC.

There is no sequel to this game but there is another game similar to this and it's called Super Hind. It's not with airplanes but with helicopters but it's the same thing: you fly to destroy both earth, water, air enemies. But I think Super Hind is harder than Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception.

this is an excellent game.. lots of replay value and you just want to unlock all of the airplanes... gameplay roks and it has a good difficulty level and levels are actually very varied with lots of different objectives... graphics are excellent for such big maps...

It's not an emulator, I'm using an actual PSP to play these games. I also use RemoteJoyLite

(google it). It's a plugin that allows PSP to display exactly what it's showing on the PSP's display on the Computer's screen. Kind of like a video output but not really... since you conect via USB.

it is, in fact during gameplay you use both, the analog and the pad, the pad is ascend descend left right and the analog is for tilting right left up and down so it's a matter of what type of controls you like...
